godess sue cleaver!
How good was Sue on Wednesday night's episode! She should have more to do as she is brilliant! It would be a travesty if she doesn't win awards soon! The way she called Sarah a bitch was class! I believe that she is one of the greatest actresses to walk the cobbles ever! Who agrees/disagrees?

Sue Cleaver is one of the most underrated actresses ever. She's absolutely tremendous and gets hardly any recognition from the press. WE LOVE YOU SUE!

Yeah she's good, I think she can do emotionally charged scenes and comedy scenes well, she's always good to watch.

The sad facts are that she will probably be overlooked in favour for an actress who shouts and screams alot more or cries alot eg, Jesse Wallace, Tina O'Brien (another outstanding actress) and Suranne Jones

Sue Cleaver deserves every award going but will doubtless continue to be overlooked by someone looked upon as more glamorous and able to get their face in all the tabloids concerning their private lives. I hope that writers start to give her more challenging storylines. I love her.

I was waiting for Eileen to ask Jason if he'd taken precautions with Sarah, and another crack at Sarah's womb !
Surely she won't get another pregnancy storyline, because you can imagine they didn't ! |

Sue is a complete Goddess, she's fabulous! She is so underused though, it's incredible
She's had so much to do this year cos of all the Todd stuff and so now that he's gone, I hope she won't fade back into the background again ![]() She deserves every award going, she's definitely been my favourite actress of the year ![]() Laura xx |

She is wonderful. At no time does she appear to be acting, she just is. Eileen Grimshaw is one of those characters I feel like I really know - Sue Cleaver has made her a real person, she plays comedy, high drama and normal day to day stuff so well. I'm so hoping she at least gets nominated for something - and in no way is allowed to fade into the background again.

I concur - she is absolutely fabulous. I'm glad she didn't slap Sarah though because it would just have turned into another Peggy Mitchell moment - I cannot be annoyed with all that.

Yeah.. Sue is one of two criminally under-used corrie actresses who play the most amusing comic characters in soapland IMO. (Maggie Jones' Blanche is the other..) I really hope that she'll be appreciated now that they'll have to find other non-Todd related plots for the Grimshaw family.

I suppose with Karens exit Steve will be 'talking' to Eillen a lot more. They're usually quiet funny, they're little talks.

Yeah totally agree Sue, is excellent - I can remember seeing her in Victoria Woods Dinnerladies and remember thinking then, she would be well suited to Corrie and here she is........ she has a great talent and hope she stays for a long time yet

She is an excellent actress. Eileen is an excellent character.
She is not, however, a godess and that's why she will be totally overlooked for awards although she deserves to win. She could even get axed if the producers had a mad moment. |

Ben xx I think her best ever scene was the one at baby Billy funeral where she just suddenly burst out crying. It seemed so real and I truely did believe that it was a burst of the characters raw emotion at the loss of her fiance and her son! Fabulous, award winning stuff! Eileen is fab also and i hope that they have no plans to sack her in the future. |

When it comes to Eileen I feel like Wayne in Wayne's World saying "we're not worthy we're not worthy" cause she is fab. I love the way she was virtually spitting her words at Sarah and then when she lifted her finger to Sarah's head while asking what the hell she was thinking of, it was so vicious, a tiny gesture that spoke volumes. Love her love her.

Look how many pictures of her from last night and there's only one of Chris No not award winning mate. Sue Clever should have won. I think she is far better than Tina any day. No I wouldn't have thought they would have sacked her. If anything she'll decide to leave before she is sacked. Ben xx |
