So far, so do I. I didn't expect to but I do. I've really enjoyed her dances. I'm not sure she could win but I hope she stays in the comp for a good while yet.

I really like Holly but her dancing just leaves me flat and underwhelmed like i was expecting her Tango to be a firework but it was just a fizzle ???

Was never ecstatic about the Holly/Artem pairing, but I didn't mind either of them as individuals.

However, I'm going off Holly because she seems a bit too blasé about the whole thing. Her dancing does nothing for me.

I am the same now Sid , I wanted to be enthusiastic about her and wanted to see her do well .I like her laid back attitude and humour , but its not suiting Strictly .
Right now I wouldnt be too fussed if she left , unless she perks up a bit in the meantime .

Isn't this just another appreciation thread? There has always been appreciation threads that are just for one person, rather than a team. That's what this seems to be to me.

That's a bit of a sweeping statement about people who actually want Holly to do well but are frustrated that she's not quite reaching her potential or showing the love. I think if you go back and read the Hartem posts you'll see that the majority of posters want Holly to do well and aren't jeelus h8ters.

I think you're confusing criticism and frustration with being negative and back-stabbing.

She's quite laid-back, and I'm not sure she's putting herself across as well as some of the others - just yet. But that's fine. Better not to peak at the start! She's totally focused on training and that's how to get the best from Artem, so that's how it should be for now.

Noone. The majority of you guys on the Hartem AT are lovely people who no doubt want Holly to do well BUT there are a handful of posters who don't like her.
One even said that s/he would like to see Hartem voted out tonight. I started this thread to generate a bit more love for Holly. Ever so sorry I've upset you

I just feel you're misrepresenting the Hartem thread a leetle bit. One voice or even two isn't a handful of posters. And I've been critical of Holly but I don't dislike her - I think others feel the same, that's my point.

Honestly don’t think I’ve seen anything that indicates a dislike of Holly. She started the show as a favourite and people were expecting miracles from the off – perhaps unfairly. There were even suggestions that Artem had been given a ‘ringer’ and that all they had to do to win was turn up. The fact that she hasn’t quite taken off yet has led to a little bit of frustration, especially from Artem fans, but I think that’s all it is.

Everyone’s just waiting for that breakthrough dance – let’s hope it’s tonight! Whenever it happens the mood will change … and there’ll be smiles all around! Well OK, maybe not from the Donovator, or Harry, or Russell, or ........!!

I like her laid back character and dry wit, and in terms of personality she's one of my favourite contestants.

I think her problem lies with with her being a good but not great dancer, when many were hoping and even expecting her to be better than she has so far shown herself to be. That's led to some feeling disappointed and rather underwhelmed by her as a dancer, while the obvious comparison with Kara hasn't much help her either.

However I'm far from convinced that the easy-going, laid back nature she seems to have away from the dance floor is hampering her chances on it. Rather she seems to train hard, put in a lot of hours and especially on her first night her nerves were all too visible. If anything she needs to relax and let herself go more.
