I'm sure they said the chacha is the hardest dance a couple of weeks ago.

And the rumba is also the hardest dance.

at least shes being taught the correct techniques

yep im a fan but same ill say alex was dire no technique, thats what i base my opinions on, the first week lulu forgot the whole routine, second she got some heel turns in which in ballroom is tough this week better still, thats why i admire.... not just watching the judges pandering to their favorites and ignoring the things they pick others up on

Jive is impossible if you are tall.
If you are a tall sportsman it's a killer.
Or something.

I'd say jive is tailored for sportsmen as they have more stamina. For every other person, the constant intensity is a killer, I think.

And for a lot of us, Lulu is dire with no technique. Yes she has improved from week 1, but she was atrocious then and yes, she was better than last week when there was so little rumba in her rumba it was difficult to tell what it was.

But you could also be accused of pandering to your favourite. You can support whomever you want hun, but then you're going to have to accept that some of us disagree with you.

But yes, Lulu was better and finally looked like she was enjoying it, but she's not good imo.

Totally agree, apart from the reins. She would only steer the horsey in the wrong direction.

Time to get of the Lulu-tinted glasses and leave Lala-land, her Samba tonight was dire. Little real content, she lost the plot a couple of times (those were the horsey moments), no hip action whatsoever etc. etc..

Apart from that, I like her gusto..

i give up trying to start a postive thread in this forum

If you enjoyed it thats the main thing it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. Doesn't really matter who the dancer/celeb is very few threads will remain positive anyway

The main forum is fair game; if you don't like criticism of your fave then I suggest using the Appreciation forum up there, no offence.

We know exactly how you feel, the relentless negativity is quite depressing and not a reflection of reality.

I dont mind when its accurate, even i will state when its dire! but just to say it in a personal attack such as' cant stand her' or them out next week is not nice...

yep i do have my own moments but i wouldnt go into a postive thread to make a negative comment

Lulu was awful, as usual... and why does Brenda always stick his arse out when doing the Samba? He looks like a dancing duck.

Oh, I don't know ... I thought the bit where she tripped up and almost landed on her chin was the highlight of the routine.

It was well and truely atrocious.
She does not have good technique, the routine only consisted of a few basic steps, no samba rolls to note along with most of the other more challenging but impressive steps which anyone looking to get higher than 5's should attempt atleast. And don't get me started on the whole running up the stairs act. don't get me wrong i don't think every second of a dance needs to be full of content but what did that actually add to the dance. Atleast when harry and aliona did their bit on the stairs it was actually nice and interesting.
Only positive i can think of is that it was margionally better than her stumbly attempt at a rumba last week which was shockingly over marked!

Its a shame all the mean stuff puts you off having a normal conversation with others, people should be able to talk about the show without all the rudeness that we keep seeing, Lulu seems to get a lot of unpleasantness here for no reason. I hope you persevere.

LOL. Maybe next week, eh!!

That routine was hopeless. Same old easy steps repeated over and over.

Thanks again terry...

I will keep trying but just logged on to see threads entitled
dont you just want to slap, and who wants to do violence to bruce?

SOmeone earlier said for me to stay in the appreciation section, sso that implies (which is being proven at the moment) that the only thing people want to do in this forum is have a go, or be personally insulting, to pros/celebs/ presenters and fans

proves the theroy that most people are sociaopaths finding NEGATIVITY IN EVERYTHING, and not looking for the slight glimmer of postivity, I thought lulu and brendans samba was her best latin, and for that got hammered, and told to stay in appreciation threads, and to be honest to say to me stay away so everyone can just have a go will just make me even more determined to be postive.

im going to ask the admins for a negatvity threads so you can all b***ch together and name call, encourage amomosity, and just plain rudeness.
