Real Walford!?!?!?!
Soccer Storyline For EE
"Everyone is praying the soccer idea will get a result." Smells like community spirit.. Just how exactly do they expect the sight of Spencer Moon in shorts is going to bring back viewers!?! Surely after the basketball team fiasco, the script-writers should realise that this isn't the best route to go down? Am I just being cynical? Does anyone actually think this could be successful?

Frankly I'm more astonished digitalspy seem fit to class it as "NEWS"
For goodness sake it's a basic plot, there's no need to put it up on the front page. |

I don't think it's supposed to be a bug plot so therefore it's not really going to do much for the show.

The thought of Spencer in shorts make me retch too, but when I consider who ELSE might be involved, I could be persuaded to show interest

If anything, it sounds like one of those worthless plots to fill the gaps between the scenes of big storylines.

Soccer storyline for EastEnders! omg! really? wow! omg like wow!
Ehhhh so what! Basically its a storyline that all the pointless characters in Walford will club together and prance around in football shorts. And quite frankly, none of them the lads I mean, are that attractive to begin with. This is not frong page news, this is a basic sub plot that should be running in the midst of other big things. It kind of reeks of the Corrie women's bowls team, but this one won't be near as entertaining or funny, I just know it. Sorry EastEnders, bad move! Normally I'm all for giving storylines a go before I see them but this just sounds like another sad attempt at drawing the teenies back in with the sight of Mickey and Spencer in shorts! And quite frankly, any storyline that gives Spencer Moon more on screen time, is an own goal IMO! |

Might I add though, if it gets Dennis and Mickey and erm, Alfie, in shorts, I'm not complaining. THEY aren't ugly, quite the opposite. God I sound like a pathetic 14 year old now.. |

lol I don't want to sound like a teenage girl but Dennis is pretty fit. But its still not a storyline worth really reporting on.

Ugh.. no thanks. Alfie's just too old IMO. But Dennis.. miaow! Lol, that could change my opinion of this farce of a plot drastically..

Perfect time for me to do my usual whinge about the fact digitalspy don't report on Emmerdale storylines enough! lol
but they really don't. And yet when something minor like this comes up for EE, they report it straight away...urgh. |
