Frankie????? Over Marcus, surely not

Yeah, you go onto their page and use Facebook credits... 7p a vote, it's quite handy.

And nice to see Marcus is 3rd on Twitter, hopefully they'll all vote for him this week and he can survive...

My weekend will be made if The Risk/Johhny/Sophie/Marcus all avoid the B2.

I hope you are sort of right OP. I want him to reach the final, yes, but I actually want him to have a career so him being runner-up would be great.

I hope he's not out this week. The death slot doesn't necessarily mean the producers don't like him. Alexandra was first on in week 2 during her year and she ended up winning. Olly was also first up in one of the first three weeks.

Yeah, I think Marcus had to be the first boy on this week, to even it out, he hadn't been the first boy on before... and it was time for the boys to be on first, just like the overs will be first next week with Johnny/Kitty.

I hope he does - narring Kitty and Johnny; who are great show acts - they aren't popstars.

Marcus IMO is great and an all round good singer.

Precisely. I don't understand why the producers would want him out so soon since he's been given a lot of airtime prior to the live shows and isn't a MAJOR threat to the "chosen ones" (that is if he isn't one of the subtle chosen ones - like Alexandra).

Not on the evidence of tonight, he wasn't great at all.

oh god i hope not :/ he seems lovely and id love to go out with him, but I dont see star quality there at all and can't imagine him on the radio. Would be as if Ray Quinn won for me.

Probably the same people who were fans of Joe McElderry and Matt Cardle and look what happened to them.

I do think he has a good chance of winning as he is bland and safe and thats what the public like

He survived performing in the death slot. If he can continue doing good performances then I think he'll have this in the bag.

I think he has a real chance in that he has a good voice, is quite polished, can move a bit as well as sing, is young, stylish and good looking and seems like a nice, humble person. That is quite a package right there. If, at any stage the producers decide to favour him and give him good songs, favourable slots and PR then he could well do it. He really does have a lot going for him and I don't think he's been favoured to this point. The producers play a long game and making him, look vulnerable for a few weeks before pimping him up over the last 6 weeks could well push him all the way. I'm not sure it'll happen but I do think he's winning material.

No he'll be out just before the semis I think. Kitty needs to win!
