That's exactly what I think too, I was always Team Barlow until I saw how utterly unpleasant he actually was.

I don't think it's 100% scripted at all. They might be told to argue etc, but not what actually to say. I thought Gary was out of line many times last night.

Cringe wise Frankie's VT and entrance onto the stage.
Nastiness wise, Gary's assassination of Sammi

Frankie's entrance was the most cringeworthy moment. I could barely watch.

When the editor of Frankie's VT tried to pretend a girl was kissing him when she was obviously moving in to say something

Is it a new production team this year or have they always been this rubbish - just hidden it well?

When Janet said "croy" instead of cry in her supposed rock song - made me wince!

Cringe indeed.”

Would have been brilliant if they'd done that with Johnny instead, it would have made the show.

Frankie's ridiculous black & white "glory walk" to the stage. What the HELL was that? As another poster mentioned - if only he had done a 'Spinal Tap' and gotten lost along the way.

They should have had him walk purposefully out of a door marked "EXIT", never to be seen again, and just played something nice over his slot in the studio. I've have voted for that.

^This. Best Frankie comment so far.

Frankie... Just Frankie

Tulisa not getting the hang of rock week was cringe as well.

Tulisa embarrassing Misha on stage.

Frankie's delusion that he's a star, when he made his entrance.

Cringleworthy - CRAIG - with his side mouth

Why does he have to do the 'side thing' with his mouth

Thank god there was non of the camp aggression this week though ......

Interesting that the 'side mouth' look has been mentioned. I don't get Craig, he sings all these songs about how he's ''the best thing you've ever had and lost and how he ain't taking you back ever'' but he's the least attractive guy on the show. I'd be giving those songs (and something else!) to Marcus

Janet makes me cringe from the moment she walks on. Kelly has a mouth like a giraffe being extremely rude to Louis you could go on but Tulisa and her outright bulllying of Misha made me cringe then feel extremely angry

He's not hot by any means (no one is this year) but he is still better looking than Johnny!

All of the judges. I'd hoped it would be less about them, but "No". The biggest thing on the X Factor remains their egos.

I didn't think it was possible to loathe a judge as much as I did Sharon Osourne, but Kelly's getting very close.

What an opinionated, rude diva-in-practice she is.

Also, though I love Tulisa, she should have shut it re Mischa. Neither the time or the place.

In fact the only person I have no gripes with is Dermot. Thank goodness he didn't get the US gig.

Kelly, maturely handling criticism.

and Janet, slowly and painfully murdering a classic.

I haven't seen the show yet and when I read about someone being given a big build up I really hoped it was Johnny for the comic effect!
