The commentary with Martine McCutcheon was unwatchable. What was she doing there? Who knows? The whole thing could be improved considerably by choosing a relevant guest if you must have one, like an ex-contestant who only needs to chip in every once in a while. And someone tell Karen she doesn't need to talk in hyperbole all the time.

Is there any reason why they could not use Audio Description for this instead of the Red Button? Nothing is gained by having Karen Hardy and the other person inserted on the screen except obscuring part of the view. It also might be possible to watch in HD rather than to switch to the poor quality picture when using Red Button.

I tuned in for a bit of it last week, and it was awful. They spent half of Alex's Tango talking about how difficult it would be for her to look moody, and then how difficult it is to walk up and down stairs in heels. Completely pointless.

When the other pros used to do it, the ones I thought were particularly good were Ian and Brendan. Perhaps one of them could take over?
