Corrie: Is Sean Growing On You As A Character?
I know a lot of people hated him at first because he was over the top and too camp but has he grown on you after his short time on corrie? Especially after this week with all his scenes in the Grimshaws supporting Eileen when Todd left.

I've always liked him; but I must have missed the scene before he left the Grimshaws. Where is he staying now?

If he's a permanant character he needs to be added to the website

Yes. I must admit, I was dreading his arrival. But he's toned down quickly and makes a good double act with Eileen.
SPOILER The actor who plays him said on This Morning that he does move back in with the Grimshaws...after Jason asks him to!

Probably because Jason realises what a miserable letch of a son he is and invites him back because she likes Sean. I do like him yes. I thought I wouldn't but I liked him from the start and I've really warmed to him this week.

I didn't think I'd like Sean as a permanent character but he's fantastic now. I think him and Eileen have an amazing on screen chemistry. I'm glad they've got him now, and I'm also glad that Todd has left when he has, else it could have ruined what has been a mind-blowing storyline.

I wasn't sure about Sean being in Corrie at first, but I now love him!

![]() I like Sean now too. I didn't at first but he's really grown on me! He seems to have toned things down a bit, which is great as I think he was slightly over the top before. He's fab now though! ![]() Laura xx |

I think he has been a brilliant addition to the show. Him and Eileen make a fantastic double act.

Definately didn't like him at first, but he's calmed down a bit and I'd have to admit he's grown on me. Pairing him with Eileen was a great move, very glad to see he's going back there.

Yes, he's definitly growing on me. I think he has an ability to make the audience laugh with him, rather than at him, which is vital if he isn't to been seen only as the stereotypical camp guy. He also has a good heart, and Corrie needs a few more characters like that to balance the bores and bitches.

Agreeing with most of you here.
Actually, I didn't mind Sean at the beginning as he was a complete comedy character with his campness. I had expected much worse though. He's great now with Eileen especially, mostly comic with the factory girls still. I hope he is reunited with Eileen soon. He hasn't really proved himself acting-wise yet so I hope he gets some good stories. |

Isn't the front room set up as a study for Todd? they could make this his bedroom. Was thinking about it yesterday, and my guess is that Jason is so fed up with Eileen smothering him with motherly love that he asks Sean to come back so she'll leave him alone I don't think we know where he's staying at the moment, but he's still working in the knicker factory so we might find out.Anthony C's mum is a seamstress and as a result he claims he can thread a sewing machine in 3 seconds I agree he has settled in really well. He has shown he can do more than OTT camp, and can blend in really well with the other characters. I think he's a great addition (Ben, have you been won over? )

Really though a lot of characters in soaps nowadays are introduced as a bit OTT. Look at Danny Baldwins's arrival in Corrie, a fist fight, a car crash, lots of mouthing off and some good comedy. But he's now settled down. The same thing with Sean. His arrival on Corrie was so funny and I'm glad he's staying around for a bit.
