Some members were getting fed up of our Ruth and Jay posts so I have made a new thread for posts just about them.

I looked for another thread about them but couldn't find one.

I am guilty of watching Casualty only for these two so I'm glad this thread has been started.

And when I say for 'these two' I don't just mean their relationship. I got totally drawn in with Ruth's bipolar storyline and then went back to watch all of her past key episodes. She has developed so much as a character.

Hopefully they will be in it a lot more in the build up to christmas if they are to have a big dramatic exit/send off.

I watched Casualty, long before either of them joined but recently, they have made me look more forward to Casualty.

I love Ruth and Jay, both separately and together.

Ruth is such an interesting character. She has so many different layers to her. She has really developed during her time in the show! Georgia Taylor has portrayed her so well. Her bi-polor *storyline was amazing! I will definitely follow her career, post Casualty.

Jay is just an excellent character. He interacts so well with all the characters. I enjoyed his Cancer storyline and I liked seeing his nan joined the show. I also loved him mentoring, Lloyd and Scarlett.

I absolutely love Ruth and Jay as a couple! They are so cute together without being cheesy. Also, it just feels like they are made for each other! Georgia and Ben have amazing chemistry. I would love to see them work together again.

Although, I'm sad to see them go, I think it's the right time for them to leave because they have had some very good storylines during their time on the show. Also, I'm sure that Georgia and Ben want to try different things. I will definitely follow both their careers after!

I hope that they get a happy ending and that neither of them die.

I agree. If they don't get a happy ending, I think that alot of us, will be VERY disappointed. I wonder if they just put them back together now because Georgia and Ben are leaving.

have to say i was always a ruth and jay fan but didn't believe the writers could reunite them in a believable way after everything they had been through - separately and together - but they did

I think that they managed it because they always showed that Ruth and Jay still had feelings for each other while they weren't together. Like when they were working together, Ruth and Jay would give little looks at each other.

I really really hope they get a happy ending. Both characters deserve one.

Yeah, exactly! I'm not looking forward to their last episode because it will be sad to know that it's their last episode.

I think that the move to Cardiff, played a part in Georgia and Ben's decision to leave.

It seems that way looking at the time of their departures

Yeah, it's the timing of their departures that makes me think that. Plus, I remember reading an interview with Ben Turner and it seemed like he found it hard, to even move from London to Bristol for the show.

I haven`t watched the latest episode yet but a Ruth & Jay fan I really hope they won`t be leaving but if they do I hope it`s a happy ending.
If they go they`ll be missed. They are both great characters together & apart.

Sadly, it was confirmed last Thursday that Georgia and Ben had left Casualty. Their last episode will be shown, just before Christmas.

Being Casualty how likely is that to happen.

I think that something bad happens which makes them decide to leave.

I can just see one of them surviving and one of them dying. Unless they do that whole thing where one of them is in a race against time to get to the other so they can have a happy ending.

They can't do the BITB because they are together now. I hope that they don't do the BITB because that will be so cliche!

The Casualty spokesperson said, that we won't be disappointed by their exit storyline so I don't think that one of them will die. If one of them did die, I think it will Jay after he tries to save Ruth.

Ruth and Jay were so cute in last weeks episode. Its so nice to see, them as a happy couple. It did feel like they were hiding their relationship but I guess that they don't feel the need to let everyone, know that they are back together.

I love Ruth and Jay!

Ive watched Casualty for ages, but Ruth and Jay are the two that really captivated me and turned me into a Casualty-spoiler-freak type, I just think they work together so well, and also separately.

I wish they had used Jay a bit more though.

Me too! Since Ruth and Jay got together, I make sure that, I check the spoilers on Thursdays and checked that they are in the cast list for the episodes.

The next Casualty couple have alot to live up to.

Yeah, I think they could of done much more with Jay!

I feel like they've left already they are never in it. I'm not holding much out for a good ending think they're gonna just let them go quietly

Agreed. Now, I'm used to Casualty without them.
