If you mean is it possible to download them to keep on the iPad 2, not directly as far as I'm aware, but there are programs out there that grab the audio and video on your PC and then format them for portable devices. Google for them as technically ripping video from YouTube is against the T&Cs.

It's not possible. May be if you have an YouTube account, then you can favorite them. But uploading them can be done through third part converters like aeesoft, however that's against the policies of Google.

You can download Air Video server then use your Mac etc as a server to stream them to your iPad or ATV2. It works very well and converts them on the fly.
