Because they changed the theme to Rock last minute so there wasn't time to learn it, tape it and rehearse it.

I'd assume because they had 3 artists instead of 2, so there wasn't enough time in the hour show.

I think it's because it takes up too much time and money to organise (i.e. pre-record the song) and they can use that time to pimp another singer with a new single out instead.

They've had 3 acts in the past AND a group song. It's because they cancelled the theme and had to do a double shift on Friday. There was no time to learn a group song which also has to be pre-recorded and then technical and camera rehearsed. The allotment for the group song was given to the 11 new Rock songs. So no time.

Maybe because the miming/lip syncing this year is notably worse than any other year? and there's simply no way to cover it up? lol

The interesting thing last week was that Sophie was amazing when they sang it all together but she doesn't replicate it when she performs on her own

I think it was due to a time issue because they had 3 guest acts on which is also why dermot didn't go to the guests after their performance apart from bruno it was to much to get in, they even showed 2 guests performing before going to their first ad break thats proberly the reason why
