New Noel Gallagher album is a load of rubbish
I've never been a big fan of Noel Gallagher. He's only ever written two good songs in his life and the rest is just hype.
All that business with his brother is so boring too. The brother's boring. So boring I can't be bothered to mention his name. ![]() Anyway, I thought I'd download the new album, High Flying Birds, just to see what it was like. A huge disappointment. It's even worse than I thought it would be. Every 'song' sounds the same, and Noel can't sing for toffee. The album is complete garbage. It's went straight in my recycle bin and been deleted. Where it belongs.

If you don't like Noel Gallagher, then you probably wouldn't like that album.
I, however, like Noel, and love his new album. |

It's OK but Noel's best days seem long over.

So you went and bought an album by an artist who, in your opinion, has only produced two decent songs in the last 17 years, and discovered you didn't like it?

If Gusto Brunt doesn't like the album it's worth buying IMO. Noel's agent must be smiling thanks to all the marketing costs now saved
![]() *nips off to iTunes to BUY a copy* |

Oasis were never my thing and saw Noel on Jonathan Ross show and could hardly hear Noel singing, the style of music is very dull.
Which brings us back to Matt Cardle

I think Noel's album is wonderful a good continuation of Oasis with only him.
I also liked Beady Eye's album too mind you, Liam must be fuming they haven't had the same success Noel is currently enjoying. |

Damon, is that you??
I prefer Noel's voice much more than Liam's. This new album is OK, I was listening to FiveLive review it the other day and one of the reviewers said that during the intro of all the sings he has an urge to sing "Today is gonna be the day", which is true. Its oasis without the rest of the band, which cannot be bad. |

In fact, even listening to Wonderwall makes me cringe now, Liam is sooooo nasally And I agree, Noel's album is OK, not great though. |

Yes, seen it before (I may even have seen the original broadcast ). Brilliant performance but much prefer this one (unlike Liam, Noel's voice has improved with the years)http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be0zUC4JeUU |

Before 2002 Liams voice was amazing... it looked effortless when he sang and even from 00-02 it started to become rough but still sounded good.
Belting out Supersonic in 97 (I think) at Earls Court was a cracker ![]() Shame it's not just what it used to be. |
