Cuddly Kelly Clarkson, a former winner of the American Pop Idol, has backed Frankie Cocozza on the X Factor. The 18-year-old ladies man has been under fire for his vocals, but Clarkson has said, "I think Idol is based more maybe on vocals".

The diva's Frankie fever continued: "[On the X Factor] You think of someone like a Beyonce, that can sing, act and dance. It’s more of an entertainer as well as a singer." Frankie may not sing like Frank Sinatra, but has has the charisma, stage presence and popularity to go a long way.

The X Factor is not a singing competition; we are looking for the whole package. Do you agree with Kelly's views?

What does Kelly Clarkson know about The X Factor? I wouldn't be surprised if she'd never watched it before.

She doesn't even back him. All she said was what she thought someone with an X factor. She doesn't watch this crap show.

Yeah right I bet she wouldn't say that if she'd been booted off idol in favour of a tool like Frankie

It's just one of your pathetic attempts to get support for the Sleazeball.

I wonder if Mr. Blonde knows just how horribly cringe worthy he is.

Mr. Blonde, I love your sense of humor.

I think Mr. Blonde has got a point in that reality TV voters (i.e. us) go for people they like rather than ones who are good at what they do. The X-Factor people encourage this by planting so many stories about issues other than singing. I do feel though that whoever sings best in the final wins.

Kelly is lucky that when she won American Idol, Frankie was only 9 years old ............... and British .................. or she wouldn't have had a prayer.

Eh? She said the bit about Beyonce on Xtra Factor if I remember correctly, she didn't mention Frankie at all on there?

And Kelly a diva? She's about the least diva-ish person you'll ever meet.

"we are looking for the whole package"

Well doesn't the whole package include singing then? Only he can't!

And he has the personality of a stupid little kid who is lead by him genitals and thinks that is more important than rehearsing for the once in a lifetime opportunity he has been given. That not a plus point in the whole package either.

So what does he have going for him that is included in this whole package that is so great we can safely ignore all the rest of the requirements?

Obviously, the chocolate eclairs that Kelly has been pigging out on recently have affected her one brain cell.

That's true. What a ridiculous thing to say that she's been overindulging on chocolate eclairs. They were chocolate chip muffins.

A vivid imagination as to how many girls he has 'slept' with.

That's what I've often wondered. If he wins, it's quite clearly a fix.
