I think the OP is having a (rather lengthy) joke.

So I'm not going to comment.

That's the Jade Goody effect. She was hated for the first few weeks and "bullied" by Graham Norton and it got a lot of sympathy for her, and after that she became a sweetheart to a lot of people. Until a few years later she went back into the house and we found out that yep, she really is just an awful disgusting human being and the "bullies" were right in the first place.

Then why don't you post a similar plea on behalf of Matt Cardle? If anyone on DS is getting bullied mercifully its Matt. BTW I'm not a Matt Loon - I'm only using him as an example.

About Frankie though. To be honest I don't blame him for having a blast and picking up as many women as he possibly can. I just wish that with all the 'rock star' antics he's getting up to, there was the tiniest smidgen of talent to go with it.

And another thing - Frankie is most likely out right now on the razzle and picking up lasses. I doubt he tunes in to DS or any other site to read anything about himself. If he can read that is!

I've got to add though - I'd love him to win the X-Factor. I want to hear what album Gary can write for him.

Perhaps if the family had brought up their son to have some class and not be so uncouth, nobody would be saying such things about him. Take care of the character, and the reputation takes care of itself.

The problems are not just about his place in the live finals (although why he was picked in the first place was because he was thought of as a cheeky chappy just like Olly).....X Factor isnt just about the voice, yore right, But most contestants can at least sing to some level.

We, as forum goers, do not know any of the contestants......we come here to comment on the show and the people who want to be on it. If they act in a manner that is deemed inappropriate, then people are going to talk about it.

I would suggest that if Frankie cannot handle reading a few alternative comments about himself then he is trying to get into the wrong business. If he can handle the comments and its only you that is having trouble then I would suggest you try the CeeBeeB's website instead.”

Well said. Pity there is not a 'clapping hands' smilie to click on.

Exactly, but then the family would not be able to make money from The Daily Gutter for their son's story.

ITV say that the X Factor is a family show, then they let Frankie flount his sordid life; a lot of impressionable young people watch the X Factor. ITV got ticked off last year over the X Factor. This year ITV is the Terrestrial Channel of the Year'....hmmmm, food for thought there methinks.

So you criticize him but you want him to win the X factor? Another person who wants someone who can't sing to win!

There's method in my madness! I don't really like the X Factor. I want it to come to an end and for ITV to invest some money in some good Saturday night entertainment - be it drama, comedy - or even music! The best way to signal the end (or the start of the end) would be for a totally useless and talentless person to win it. I just think Frankie fits the bill perfectly. Frankie is this year's Wagner - but the advantage he has is that he doesn't even realise it.

You say you don't really like the X Factor. Now this begs the question: why are you bothering to post on an X Factor thread?.......:multi confused:

I cannot stand Strictly Come Dancing, which means not only do I not watch the show, I also don't post on the thread dedicated to the show.

For those that are wondering how I know that I don't like the show when I have never watched it:-

a) Cannot stand Bruce Forsyth, who I find to be tediously unfunny.

b) seen the endless trailers on various BBC channels for the show.

I did at one time like XF (I've steadily gone off it over the years). I do sometimes force myself to watch it to really take in how bad it is. The contestants this year (all of them) are rather poor. And put them next to the talent on US XF it makes you feel a little embarrassed to be British if this is the best we can offer.

You must admit too - there really is nothing much on the other side is there? XF is still good for a laugh.

BTW - I'll ask your permission before I post again!

So far there are some bad singers through to the live finals of US X Factor. Look at Simon having to go to the house of one of the good singers and ask her to join him in the live shows after he did not pick her in the first place, but chose the bratty one.

I'd just like Saturday nights to be good again. Especially now when I tend to go out midweek. It'd be nice to sit in with a bottle of wine, a bag of Doritos and watch ITV put something out like HIGNFY, QI or maybe even a film.

You DO have a right to say so, and thats quite polite compared with some comments I've read about Frankie.

I actually like Frankie - What I like most about Frankie is that in all likelihood he would read your post, and the ones by all the extraordinarily rude idiots (not you, just for clarification) and not be bothered in the slightest. In fact I would imagine if these were printed in a newspaper he'd probably use it to wipe his bum with...

Saturday nights don't bother me. I have many programmes on my SKY Plus that I can watch, and a huge pile of dvd box sets, and the many cds that seem to breed in my lounge overnight.

I record X Factor so that I can zip through the adverts, Frankie's 'singing', and any other act I don't like.

I quote you: 'the extraordinarily rude idiots'. Are you talking about your fellow posters on DS X Factor?

Only the extraordinarily rude ones of which, luckily, there are few and far between.

I've not really seen any negative comments about Matt on here tbh but yes, you are right, and the same would apply for personal comments made against him. As they would from the "fat" remarks made against Sami.

Your comments are fair - apart from the "if he can read that is!" The thing is none of us know if Frankie or his family read DS - they probably don't but you can't be sure.

I just think this; comments made about his voice are constructive, and if people don't like him fair enough - it's their right not to, but calling him "skankie" and saying he has STD's is unacceptable (how do people know he's got STD's??), and this crosses the line. I even saw one poster say they wished Frankie was shot dead (or something like that).

I don't have time to record stuff though. Whenever I have - I've ended up recording over without watching. I too have got stacks and stacks of DVD's but once I've watched them once (unless its something I'm fanatical about) they tend to just sit on the shelf. I did actually watch The Taking Of Pelham last night (original) for the umpteenth time - but in general I tend to just watch what is on any of the available channels at the time its put out. I suppose I'm a bit lazy too!

Lol surely you can't be serious, the anti-Matt threads were very much visible on the forum over the last month or so. They were everywhere.

Some of the names that have been used on here to describe him are appalling. He's 18 for goodness sake, and is entitled to enjoy his life. He's been given an amazing opportunity and he's making the most of it.

His voice may not be as strong as others in the competition but he has bags of personality, and his performance has presence.

Both Robbie and Gary noted his stage presence which is why they chose him.

Since when has a good voice been the only thing worthy of winning the x factor? Ollie Murs doesn't have the best voice but got to the final on personality and presence, and well deserved too. Leona has an okay voice (not personally my cup of tea), but no personality. Cheryl Cole can't sing a note yet look at how far she's gone.

You can't tell me all rock stars have got good voices, but they sell their songs and have presence. This is a skill and I think Frankie has this.

His behaviour is also a lot better than the alleged "mean Misha", so why is he being pilloried?

He's always clapping fellow contestants, and handled himself so well when he was in the bottom 2. He was generous in wishing Nu Vibe luck and didn't sob or fall apart when it came to the judges' vote. He just stood there and calmly took it, as he did with the judges' comments last week.

He's also self depreciating - saying he deserved to be in the bottom 2 last week, and that he was gutted he didn't do as well as he wanted to this week and that he would be in the bottom 2.

It's a personal opinion and everyone is entitled to disagree, but what I don't think is acceptable is this blatant bullying of an 18 year old who has ambition. What's wrong with that??

The comments are personal and slanderous, so give him some slack. If you don't like him, don't vote for him, but stop being so personal to him on this forum. You don't know him after all.

If he wasn't in the show you wouldn't have anything to talk about on here, or are you just going to pick on someone else if he goes??”

And I think your post is very insuling because you are accusing everyone who defends misha as a bully Because everyone who has defended Misha has not posted about Frankie.

So by that point should them who do defend Misha but does not post bad things about Frankie feel bullied by all them who are agreeing with you in this thread. Seen as you are also judging them unfairly????????????

If not then next time dont tarnish everyone who defend Misha with the same brush as some silly nasty little posters

I'd say the same for some people who support Misha as well though. The comments I've heard from some people on here, just because others don't share their opinion of Misha being a kind and humble angel, are simply disgraceful and nasty. Ironic considering they're defending someone against being bullied.
