Oh man I agree that it's brilliant, but weirdly Prof Green performed on XF last night, despite Labrinth being signed to Syco?! Anyway Labrinth is the best male to come from the UK in a very long time!!!

'Read All About It' is at number one because it was sang on X Factor and so has had a lot of promotion. I agree with you though, I love Earthquake and think it should be number one. It could get to number one because it's the full version that's at number two, there's also the radio edits and remixes in the top 40 which could bump up the single to number one on the official chart.

To be honest, Professor Green and Labrinth will make up one of the best top 2's of 2011 imo. It's just a shame both of these songs couldn't be #1s, because I think they really deserve it.

Deserves to be number one with that massive beat. The Pro Green tune is the same old rubbish.

Love this. I really wanted it to get to No.1. Guess it'll have to settle for No.2. Would've loved an X Factor performance of it.
I wanted Let The Sunshine to get to No.1 too. Still if it sells well that's all that matters. Looking forward to the album. |

Labrinth has said in the past that he sees X factor as Simon's TV show.
Unfortunately if he doesn't get number 1, it will be a shame when he could easily have and Pro Green goes on to get it thanks to his performance on X factor. As far as I'm concerned Earthquake is miles better than Pro Green's song. |

Pro Green 67k ![]() Labrinth 53k Basically both are on course to be in the top 5 first week sales of the year, behind What Makes You Beautiful and Grenade. It's really tight on Labrinth because he is on course for sales that would have pretty much topped the chart any given week this year bar about 2. Really quite annoyed now Labrinth didn't get the X Factor slot, look at how many he sold without it, a performance would have given it an even bigger boost, I doubt Pro Green wouldn't have done anywhere near as high without X Factor, then again I don't know, was Read All About It, number 1 on Itunes BEFORE XF? If so then he might have been number 1 anyway. Still...annoyed for Labrinth! |

I agree, the first midweek sales figure are incredible for both.

Labrinth was actually number 1 preorder on itunes last week and pro Green was about 10, so yes X factor has helped him a lot.
professorgreen Professor Green Yes please. #readallaboutit just hit #1 on iTunes!! Without even having graced the xfactor stage! Bang! |

Technically Prof Green was #1 about 3pm Sunday. Lab was #2 and #20-odd at the same time and i think someone on the Buzzjack forum (who take iTunes stats extremely seriously) worked out that Lab may actually have been a nose hair ahead when combined.
