Hi,

I am here not ignoring you, but was catching up on posts since this morning. Have been trying read while watching TV and without hubbie seeing I am on laptop, otherwise he will moan

Some interesting discussions today, can't quote them all now, but nice to see.

and nice also to see lighthearted chat and Muggins posting so much - must admit I did have to check the top of the page, as I thought I was in the Sanitorium!

JJJ started as a friendship and progressed to love and then fancying each other.

Whereas Aaron and Faye's relationship has started as fancying each other first, and now they are at the getting to know each other stage. This BB is shorter so when they leave and meet up on the outside, they will still be at a much earlier stage of their relationship than JJJ was.

I find it quite interesting comparing the two, some things are similar such as the fall outs, others things are different.

Shows how all relationships are different, you can't just look at one couple and say that is how it is mean to be, and all other relationships therefore must be fake.

And even if a relationship does not last on the outside, it does not mean it was not real at the time.

I like Aaron he is an interesting character, same as John James was an interesting character, which is probably why Josie has taken a dislike to him. He probably reminds her of John James and she does not want to be reminded. I sometimes wonder when she is watching BB and the couples is she thinking is that what we looked like to the public, because she has never watched herself apart from u tubes set to music.

This year we have all seen the same programmes because there is no live feed. So we can't blame it on people only seeing edit HLs. So I find it very fascinating that we are all watching exactly the same thing, but see it differently and react differently.”

Aaron s nothing like John, John was a vibrant, charismatic interesting, argumentative, confusing, lovable person who wore his heart on his sleeve, Aaron is about as interesting as a damp squid and lacks any charisma plus he s not treating Faye very nice sometimes, blows hot and cold, even her sister doesnt like him and has warned her also her mum, they cant all be wrong.

JJJ were completely different, we went through a whole gamut of emotions with them, thats why it was for real. Theres none of that with these two in BB11 cant see it lasting past the house, they dont have that spark.

Sometimes the more you do for them the less they appreciate it!!!

I know what you mean Alma. My daughter is really into BB this year and seeing it differently from me. Especially Aaron.

We both have watched BB since series 1 except for last year, when I think as an act of defiance against me she refused to watch it. Could have been because I was on the lappy with headphones at every opportunity.

I can see me and Alexandra having conflict. There are flashes now of pre teen mutiny. I am sure the I want to move in with Dad will come.
The thing with Alex is she keeps everything inside herself, she never shows her feelings really. Been like this since her dad left. She always acts as if everything is ok and if you question she gets upset.

hes not a patch on john james, i dont think hes got a personality, hes boring ive even thought he was gay with his mannerisms

That's what I was saying - we all see it differently.

All the things you said about John which I do agree with, there were lots of people saying the complete opposite.

However, I don't agree with you re Aaron - I think he is very interesting - he is so different from the average young man, and he does have a very dry sense of humour, maybe a lot of people do not appreciate it, but I believe there is a thread dedicated to his sayings.

Faye has also not been nice to him at times, and has played with his emotions too, and yes his Mum and sister can be wrong. They are not in the relationship - Faye is, and they have spent hours talking to each other, when Mum, sister and us have only seen minutes.

So at the moment I am keeping an open mind. I don't think it is fake, but am also not at all sure it will last on the outside either. Will wait and see.

PS. I do agree their relationship has not got the same lovey dovey feel that that so captured our attention. I bet there will never be the hundreds of u-tubes to music that were produced.

I think this thread is good for the soul it has very strong and loyal foundations and defends itself against intrution and assault. It broadens your views it concretes some and shatters others. Its a place to find poetry, advise,humour,saddness,facts and figures! Just brilliant.
