EDIT - The weirdest celeb I have had rock up in my bed is Alesha Dixon (to memory) think it must have been after watching Strictly!!!”

Couldnt be fussed going out in the end, Dont feel great plus it was fancy dress and I hate fancy dress. Also I am old enough to be half of their mums and they get raucous/rude and i'm not a prude but I dont want to play sexual positions.
I feel bad because they are nice people but I prefer a nice meal.Plus I have no car at the mo and it would take me the best part of an hour to get there , so i'll just watch strictly and x factor and keep warm

Daughter has been taken on a magical mystery weekend.... well no mystery as the journey panned out. She hoped they were off to London and taking in Over The Rainbow. No such luck. She text first thing 'On the M4 London bound so excited'. Next text, 'we're at the Euro Tunnel' then followed by 'On our way to Bruges'.
I always keep in contact with her, and asked were the Xmas Markets in full flow, she answered saying no but that they had lovely Xmas shops there and she would bring me home a bauble. Then I got a text saying they were going on a horse and cart followed by a meal at 8.30pm.
I have just received the call, the call I was waiting for and the call I was expecting. My gorgeous, bubbly daughter has just been asked for her hand in marriage - she's engaged. She's over the moon and very happy. He proposed by the river on one knee.
I knew this was coming, whilst Claire and I were out partaking in a ciggie, he asked hubs if he could have her hand. That's why my attention has been a bit hay wire on the thread. Soooo pleased for her. They are a match made in heaven.
