Hi all
Since I upgraded my software to IOS5 on my iphone 4 I cannot recieve text messages fron any O2 phones.
I can still receive from all other networks but not O2
I've been on the phone for hours to O2 trying to solve this problem but no luck yet, I've put my sim card into another phone but still can't receive text's, I put my wifes sim card into my phone and can recieve text's, I've been into the O2 shop and received two replacement sim cards but still no joy, O2 transfered my number to another sim card at the call centre and tell me they can recieve text's on thier card, I've tried rebooting my phone by holding the power and home buttons until the phone restarts, I've done a restore with itunes and reloaded all of my settings from an earlier backup.
I'm hoping somebody can help.
Thanks
Mitchell

It's possible that the update is coincidental, or has triggered something O2-side, but as your SIM doesn't work in your phone, or others, and your wife's SIM does work in your phone, that's not the phone causing the problem, it's something on the SIM. Go to an O2 store, explain the problem, and get them to transfer your number to a new SIM card.

The OP says they have done that already.
