You can't remove anything you've watched, though, which is what PlatinumSteve was talking about.

Why would you even need to delete your history? Unless you are sharing your account? And what exactly are you watching to be embarrassed about? lol

your argument that netflix shouldnt be saving information about what you watch is wierd considering thats exactly how netflix operates

everything you watch and rate goes towards the movies it suggests for you.

ild rather people concentrated on the real problems with netflix. Specifically the lack of "browse by date uploaded" and the need for a queing system

I know there are a few risky films on there e.g. body of evidence and "closer" which may be embarrasing if you stopped watching them shortly after a sex scene

but if you share your netflix account just dont watch anything like that

Trying to galvanize a mass unsubscription because you can't delete your viewing history seems hugely petty and OTT in my humble opinion.

Anyway, tried it again earlier on my Sony bluray player and it worked fine. Once my finances settle down then i think i might subscribe to US netflix for a month or two, just to see if i use it more than Lovefilm.

I don't understand why people would be embarrassed watching things like that now a days...

I think some are missing the point about what was said and probably what was meant.
I think what they're getting at is they don't really have a problem with Netflix saving the info about what you watch, but rather more to do with it showing your recent viewings on screen for all to see which is not so good when the whole family use the same account in one household.
I know for me personally there's no way I can even bother trying to watch certain things as I would be right in the doghouse when my wife sees the recently viewed list so I just don't bother as its more trouble than it's worth.

I suppose I can understand it if you watch horror films and you have kids who might want to watch something but even then, you'd never let them see the film titles anyway.

Unless there's a secret porn section i'm unaware of, I still can't see what would cause this consternation.

Just to add, I noticed a film called 'Nude Nuns With Big Guns' which has me slightly intrigued as to what it's about, but even if I just have a quick look it will be something my wife and kids will notice and then the interrogation will start and off to the doghouse I will go.

Maybe Netflix just wants people to be honest with their nearest and dearest lol

On a more serious note I can see why you wouldn't want your kids seeing titles like that when they use Netflix, I wouldn't boycott them for it but i can see why some people would want to hide recently watched movies.

See that I can understand, specifically to that particular film. You certainly don't want to be sitting there with the family about to choose a film to watch and that appears.

But for the wife ?. Me, I can't see the issue - it's not a porno. It's a pretty cheap and cheesy looking exploitation spoof

Maybe a simpler solution would be a flag in the account settings similar to lovefilm's "hide adult content" ?

For some guys wives its probably not a problem, but for my wife it's a big no no especially with Nude Nuns in the title.
It was bad enough when she thought I was watching porn when I was watching an episode of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia and it popped up on Facebook that I had just watched 'Mac Bangs Dennis and Dee's Mom'

Those of you under the impression that there's nothing too hardcore on Netflix should (SHOULD NOT! NSFW x 1000!) check the film Baise Moi.

I bet over 90% of those having panic attacks over Netflix 'privacy issues' have been watching Baise Moi with a box of kleenexe for company!

Is that on Netflix?

I must admit I find it impossible to be turned on by graphic rape scenes.

Yes, it is!

From memory, there's only (!?) one rape scene, the rest of the graphic (and I mean GRAPHIC) scenes are consenting.

Terrible film, not recommended other than from a 'somebody really made this?!?' perspective.

Next time anyone is using US Netflix, any chance you could check it out to see if there's any Mystery Science Theatre 3000 on there please ?

And if so, and you haven't seen any of it before, WATCH IT !

Funny, funny stuff it is

Simple answer to everyone's facebook problems.

Login to your Netflix account on-line goto settings and disconnect your facebook account.

Watch as much Avatar Airbender or Softporn as you want.

Sorry but it solves nothing as you've still got the Recently Watched list that appears when you first turn on Netflix.

Netflix US has "Intimacy", which features the infamous Kerry Fox blowjob scene.

I may have skimmed through it out of curiosity

Yup there's 3 and a half pages (about 35) e.g. MST3K: Hamlet, MST3K: Gunslinger etc.Not sure why they're listed like this - were they not shown as whole series, but individual episodes?

Might check em out thanks - have only ever seen the Star Wars ones and they were great.

MST3K will have the same problem as it does on DVD they can't release it as a series due to having to re-negotiate the rights to the films that they show.

Some episodes will never be available due to producers and directors being unhappy with their films being ridiculed Sandy Frank apparently had issues with them and the actor Joe Don Baker was not a fan. Though some people are okay with it, B-movie actor Joe Estevez is interviewed on one of the DVD's and is quite proud to have two films MSTied.

Excellent, thanks for looking. It's honestly worth watching as some of them can be eye-wateringly funny. Some of them can also be very "american" if you will, with a lot of the gags referencing american culture, celebrities and the like but most of the ones i've seen have been hilarious.

I know the Sci-Fi channel, before they became SyFy, always mentioned this as a reason they wouldn't get any more episodes. I think they had the rights to Seasons 7 and 8 and just showed them on a loop until the rights expired.

Many years ago I had a 'Screenplay' HDD Media player and I actually had about 5 season's worth of MST on it until it got accidentally dropped and kind of died

Ha yea I had to have a quick look at that! Hilarious title.

I've just changed my Xbox 360 settings using unblock US service but I don't want to be banned from Xbox live. Does it violate their terms of service does anyone know?
