Oh I see Its definately an UnblockUS thing as Netflix don't seem to mind.
On iPhone when you use the app you get a prompt telling you about roaming and that content may differ between countries of use.
Watched Netflix this evening a couple of things anyway, so still working.

What difference does that make?
IP address would be different, so if it went by IP address it would not have stopped.

So not a specific to talktalk issue then

not working for me on PS3 anymore. Went to Log in and gives me the error - unable to connect to netflix. Had it set to US DNS. wont log in, 360 has normal UK and works

Edit: Yea, when I reverted the PS3 Network settings back to normal Netflix was open again to me. Looks like the DNS trick on PS3 has been stopped.

It has not been stopped.
As a guess I would say that you do not actually pay anything to use the DNS you used on your PS3?
You need to goto http://unblock-us.com/ ,sign up and pay $4.99 a month.
If of coarse you do actually pay then you need to goto http://unblock-us.com/ and click 'Check Service' which will reactivate your account.

Nope, you just got to pay Unblock DNS.

Yes, but those DNS servers are *their* DNS servers. I would imagine they have clamped down on unauthorised usage because so many people have using Unblock-US without paying.

Pay Unblock-US: they allow your IP address to use their DNS servers.

Do not pay Unblock-US: they do not allow your IP address to use their DNS servers.

At one point you could use it on a console without paying, because of the way they verified IPs, but they have tightened things up now.

Occasionally you have to log in on your PC and click 'Check Service' to get it going again.

If they have a mobile phone with a browser, they could also do it with that.

That all spends on what device your intending on using.
Most portable devices like phones, consoles etc allow you to use your existing UK account.
Other devices like TV's, Blu Ray players will need to have a US account as you would need to activate the device with a code.

I doubt they'd do that. Netflix actually advertises the fact that you can "roam" with it, and watch other content when in another country.
Didn't notice that, interesting. I guess they don't care then and they'll only account-level-country-block-it if the rights holders made them.

Anyone else struggling to get HD content to work properly? It seems to cut in and out a lot or not work at all. Has happened for a weeks now...and I'm not the only one of my friends with the same issue, all on good speedy networks.

Ok I'm all up and running now, must say though it's a good idea to sign up to netflix before using unblock us as Netflix would go to the us site to sign in which isn't possible from the uk as we don't have zip codes

I have it installed on my iPad and WD live tv and have all us content working a treat

Many thanks for the advice

Which they don't, so if it goes belly up I will have to take my phone up there, the problem is finding out what their WPA code is on their router, whci is still a sky router because Talk Talk still can't be bothered to send them another router.

I had cutting in and out on my HD content, I was using Wifi, I then used a couple of Powerline Network adapters and It vastly improved. But sadly they where not my adapters so I'm hard wired network cable and not a single glitch since.

My internet connection on a good day is 5.5Meg, no probs now

Problems last night for some reason, lots of reloading, but i am not sure if that was my internet. got up this morning and found no network. i had to unplug router and plug it back in to get sync.

Not sure why that happened, maybe I got my SNR a little bit too low
