All signed up and I love it already. Tested it through 'Dexter' and it performed very well. Great value at £5.99 too and I'm sure content will be increasing all the while as more deals are finalised.

Lovefilm is too little too late in my honest opinion.

How many others here are considering dumping lovefilm now?”

Until something goes wrong with Netflix and then they will complain like hell, even if it not Netflix fault.

At least with Lovefilm I am pretty sure that I will get a disk through when i know it should be, unless post goes on strike. with netflix I can't be sure that i will be able to stream a video at a good quality.

i still think the DVd though the post service is the best way of getting videos to watch at the best quality.

Try getting Hd with 3megabits connection.

Fringe aint on there but from what i have browsed so far:

Doctor Who seasons 1 - 4
Jericho
24
Breaking Bad
Heroes
Torchwood
Warehouse 13

There is a decent selection of TV boxsets on it. Watching a few programmes via the ps3 and the picture\sound quality is excellent

I tried all the details on that site but it says that my email address is only valid for uk use.

Apparently if u go to unblock-us.com and follow the steps for Apple Tv and it is supposed to change it but I tried it and it wouldn't work for some reason.

Ok, I just phoned their 0800 customer services number. Given they have just launched today I only had to wait 2 minutes in the queue which I was happy enough with. You go straight through to the US call centre in California ( I asked the guy I was speaking to where he was).

First impressions of their customer service are excellent, the guy I spoke to was extremely helpful! I asked him about Fringe and how come it wasnt on there yet. I mentioned that as 24 was also a FOX show which is already live why Fringe was not. He put me on hold and went to check a few things. Back about 1 minute later. He explained that for Fox most of the licenses are signed but they are still transferring some shows over for the UK system. He said I should expect to see Fringe soon.

Although I cant watch Fringe for a while I felt very satisfied with how they had handled my call. Good start for them in my opinion anyway.

I chatted to him more about their plans and essentially they want the UK content to match that of the US as soon as possible.

I have watched only on my laptop so far, sound and picture quality excellent. Off now to try on iPad and PS3.

If you've got VPN set up on your iPad (I'm using StrongVPN) it'll also let you stream US material, the current version of the Netflix software doesn't allow streaming to Apple TV though.

What package you on? Trying to work out which is best for streaming purposes.

Think I will just stick to the version I have on my iPad and my Apple Tv and wait for more content to be added.

I was watching "Men Behaving Badly" this afternoon and that was great on the PS3.

Quality is good on the Wii. I am watching "Some Like It Hot".

Only annoyance is, it won't go full screen and has black bars all around it.

Simply pull the power cord and count to 10 and then plug it back in and try again.

My mate struggles to watch dvd's when he gets them and can go back anytime and he has used netflix for quite a while and it's flawless.

I tried registering online at first, then tried again through the email I received and that allowed me to connect via my facebook account and have it working now

Just found they have seasons 10 - 14 of South park

Impressed so far, very good quality, especially on my Android tablet. Still waiting for the apps to show up on my Sammy TV and WDTV Live Media player...and TiVo....where's the Netflix app Virgin?!?!?

TV content is surprisingly strong. 24? Prison Break? I'm in.

Might keep the Lovefilm subscription for the 'I demand the very best quality' Blu Rays and keep the Netflix option for the 'Gimme a film or TV episode' option

I'm on the lowest one Lite PPTP VPN, costs $21 a quarter, but I've never had any problems with it. Just downloaded Connectify and while it can see my Apple TV and the Apple TV can see it it won't let me get online. All a bit annoying at the minute.

Agree completely.

I also think there is room for both. Hard to beat a good Bly ray with dts when the mood takes you! But lying up in bed at night on the iPad.....Netflix is going to be epic. Surely can only get better as more and more content is added.

Is the Android app out already?

I have an Asus transformer, will have to give it a try.

Is there a limit to how many devices you can use Netflix on? As I'll be accessing it primarily through my Xbox 360.

Sleep is overrated.....well, it is now!

Oooh, Californication! I missed the 2nd half of Season 2, time to play catch up.

Yep, the app is out and it works very well on my Asus Transformer. I love the way you can watch something on say, your laptop, and when you play it on other device, it resumes playback where you left it.

You have to use the app on Android, at first I tried using the Netflix web page on there but you can't play anything back that way.

Really impressed so far, and £6 seems like a real bargain. Good selection of TV (though obviously more would be good, and more upto date series, eg Dexter's only S1&2). Good choice of films, including foreign ones. And the iPad app is fantastic. All round, very polished
