What a load of old rubbish this is. It's well know that Kelly is supporting Chris Brown on certain dates of his tour. It was announced a few weeks before the live shows that she would be skyping the contestants while she is doing the tour. Yet another Syco press thing that gullible people are falling for. :yawn:

Her tour with Chris Brown finished right before the live shows, so if she has gone away again it isnt anything to do with that.

I think it's pretty reliable. The Sun, Daily Mail etc have very good sources on the show. It's not like they have actually said she's quit, just that they're worried

I'm sorry but that is extremely childish, I said the same about Louis and I'll say the same about any judge who ditches their acts to fly out of the country. It's clear what Kelly is like, she comes across as been like Misha. A big diva. The way she speaks down to Louis and sometimes Tulisa, then runs off back to America when she's shown any confrontation.

These publicity stunts get tiresome.

I only like Tulisa on the panel, I did like Kelly but not in the live shows, I hope Dannii or Simon come back next year, The show is failing without them. Louis is also a waste of space, I'm sorry but he can't mentor anybody at all..

You are absolutely right. Its things like these blatant attempts to manipulate the interest of the public that are turning people off the show. Less people believe them and The Sun continues to descend to Daily Sport levels of fiction.

British viewers loved Nicole when she helped out during X Factor auditions/bootcamp last year. She's a classy lady, and she does not have a gob on her like La Rowland.

This is all hype over nothing. It's plain to see (unless you are a total numpty) to realise that Kelly's life is over in the States and that she was more than likely to have the odd trip back there during the series. This is just being blown out of all proportion in a desperate attempt to gain viewing figures, as there;s a mass exodus from ITV to the BBC to watch Russell Grant camp it up - and, to be honest, it's way more entertaining.

It's a shame that Tulisa hasn't left the country. For good.

Kelly Rowland is not Courtney Love....does anyone seriously believe she's the type of person to fly off at a moments notice half way acrooss the world, becuse of a tiff on a singing show.

Kelly is as professional as they come. Tee-total, eats right etc. Her schedule is layed out weeks, if not months in advance. She almost certainly has occasional "breaks" written into her contract, where she can fly home for a few days during the season to recharge or see friends and family. Which is standard practice, especially for a Judge who doesn't even live in the UK. It's not like she's Louis who takes the piss by spending the entire week in Ireland.

This has nothing to do with what happened on the show. I suspect her trip was planned months ago.

Yawn, it's just the media hyping it up again. Apparently she has been booked for a show in the States which is the reason she flew back and the press are just bigging it up as usual!

So it's a planned trip, and she had permission to go. What a shocker, eh

Kelly's the only international star on this show (Tulisa was desperate to be, but N'Dubz breaking America didn't quite work out). Stands to reason that she's got a few promotional obligations to attend to in America. I think she's releasing "Lay It On Me", her second single in America, after Motivation.

Why is Kelly only releasing the 2nd single now? The album was ready over a year ago?

Isnt her management team based there? And there are persistant rumours that she has a secret boyfriend and from what those rumours say they share a house in LA?

I suspect she has gone for a break to get away from it all. IMO she'll be back Thursday ready for the live shows.

From what I can see she is a hard working professional and I wonder if all this has been done to generate ratings. However, she appears to be not getting on with Tulisa, look at the body language between them on Sunday's show. I think you could have put a wall up between them and neither would have objected.

A former NOTW journalist on twitter reckons Cheryl will replace Kelly on the next show.
