Apparently Will.I.Am is going to sign on as a judge on The Voice. I hope this isnt true as he isnt known for his voice. They should have tried to get Fergie if they wanted a big American star.

fergie is not known for her consistent live performances to be fair. she can be very hit or miss. however, she would be better than will.

Will.i.am cannot sing to save his life. A terrible choice of judge for a show that's supposed to be all about the singing

Although he may not have the best voice, I still think he'd be a good judge because not only is he a performer but he's also and producer and manager and successful at all those three. I also think he'd be a good mentor for RNB contestants. however he's not my first choice.

Some people seem to be taking this seriously.

on oktv they just said he's not gonna be an official coach but rather a vocal coach!!? very bizarre why would he be vocal coach!!? they said lenny kravits is still in the frame!?

That's not the point of The Voice, though. That would make sense on a show like X Factor and, to a lesser extent, Idol, but not The Voice.

Although I doubt this is true, since he's a pretty busy guy. I don't think it would be that bad, he was pretty well received as a mentor on Idol; plus he may not have the best voice himself, but has plenty of experience working with people who do.
