Is that genuine? I'm not a big gamer so I don't know if that's just from another game.

That certainly looks like a London Underground style sign on the other platform though.

Which they could easily put in the game, it doesn't have to be an exact carbon copy of London.
But then all it is game with a London skin with american feel to it. You can't make successful London GTA Its just won't feel right.

A side mission to London would be a welcome surprise.
This would work one or two mission in London.

Would be quite a wasted effort though, building an open-world recreation of London just for a couple of missions.

I really hope it's not set in London, i'm sure Rockstar could probably pull it off but the whole "cockney geeza gangster" schtick is extremely tired.

A random screengrab posted on flickr, of a CGI'd Tube station won't convince anyone GTA V is to be set in London . . .

I haven't even played GTA 4 yet. Or any other game from the current generation of consoles.

Can't afford them.

Despite GTA IV being such a massive disappointment (never played the expansion packs though), I'm still relatively excited for this. GTA games have so much potential in them, and if this is anywhere nearly as detailed as San Andreas - which I suspect it will be, given the massive development time - then I'll be picking it up.

Found the V logo origin!

http://wattsupwiththat.files.wordpre...ollar-bill.jpg

"In 1899, the U.S. Mint issued the first and only bank note to feature a Native American as the central portrait: Running Antelope, a celebrated chief of the Uncpapa band of Sioux.

Old and rare paper notes like this unique $5 silver certificate are amazing works of art. The intricate detail of Chief Running Antelope’s facial features and headdress are absolutely stunning. This unique bill caused quite a scandal when it was issued due to a mistake of the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, who used the headdress of a rival tribe, the Pawnee, on Running Antelope.

This beautiful note was the first and only U.S. paper currency to feature a Native American.
Issued for only a short time, the $5 Indian Head Note is extremely rare and in high demand. Order yours today!"

Vice City please! I am, however, intrigued by the previous rumours about it being set in a Hollywood-style location such as Vinewood in San Andreas. GTA V...Perhaps it's not a five but a V for Vinewood!

Rockstar will have heard all the criticism about the last game so here's hoping they take it on board and give us fun again.

Would love to see a return to the 80s and a huge open world like San Andreas with plenty of mini games and side missions. Would also be good if they gave us some online co-op missions to do like in RDR. I enjoyed those.

Wow that sign and picture looks like the London Underground. Wow! OMG!!!!

the 'way out' sign is similar here:

http://jakemcmillan.files.wordpress....derground1.jpg

and the red sign too:
http://www.universediver.co.uk/siteb...groundLogo.jpg

If I am correct, no other places other than uk or London has that logo.

Please, please be true!

If we do get an american setting, i hope we get all types of terrain/landscape, e.g. dessert, mountains, snow, city etc. Similar to RDR. Of course, it being set in London, we can get a lot of weather effects. Makes the game more interesting.

Well unless i'm mistaken, that's actually Aldgate underground station.

Real pic from the platform ..

http://www.flickr.com/photos/crashcalloway/1367138559/

But I can't imagine it's real though - I really don't think the game would be set in London.

Wow, look at the signs. This is massive, if that first pic is GTA, it is very likely to be a London setting. Just look at both way out signs, its uncanny.

Its fake. Judging by logo I think we safely say its staying in america.

I'm just really surprised that people are surprised by this.....in other news the earth revolves around the sun!!!

I didn't really enjoy GTA IV and never bothered completing it, something I very rarely do. Maybe it's just that I'm getting older but I get no pleasure from playing horrible immoral characters these days.
I thought the whole problem with gta 4 was that the main character was too moral.

Gta 3 - Main character was basically a cold, silent assasian who didn't seem to have much morals.

Vice City - From what i can remember this guy was an absolute nutter out for revenge. Had no morals whatsoever and would kill or screw over anyone that got in his way.

San Andreas - Main character was straight out of the hood, out to make a name for himself. Not quite as bad as the other two, but still very much a bad guy.

Gta 4 - Was just way too nice and questioned nearly every single mission he was given. He was the only character where it felt like you weren't really moving up the criminal ladder as the missions progressed.

Just read that the screen is took from something else. It was too good to be true. I hope we get a New york/Chicago style setting.

That would be good. People keep going on about wanting SA or VC setting, in a way I disagree. What we need is a place that has VC or SA feel to it but Is new big and fun map. I myself never want to see Liberty city back. Places I would like to see.

Canada
hollywood
vegas
texas

The thing is they are all good, but I would prefer a state in which has all landscapes, like Colorado? I am sure that has desert type areas, snowy mountains etc. Something similar to RDR and San Andreas, maybe. That is another thing, I really hope there is better weather effects and seasons. More realistic things put in. More side missions, jobs to earn money. Burgarly side missions, ability to destroy more things is around you. Also, hope that they bring back the gym and ability to get stronger, the muscular you are. Also, options to buy houses, rather than earning them as you go along. I am sure you had to do it like that in GTA 4, can't remember.

Also In RDR, there is a lot of realistic things going on in the sourroundings, like people doing every day things, like sweeping and cleaning, making things etc. I hope they bring that aspect into the game, of course things will have changed since last GTA, so I think we can expect a hell of a lot more. RDR has set the bar for this, so we should get a lot of what we are hoping for.
