Despite GTA IV being such a massive disappointment (never played the expansion packs though), I'm still relatively excited for this. GTA games have so much potential in them, and if this is anywhere nearly as detailed as San Andreas - which I suspect it will be, given the massive development time - then I'll be picking it up.

You missed a lot good games you should pick a cheap xbox 360 you can find a lot good games you've missed for low as fiver.

Vice City please! I am, however, intrigued by the previous rumours about it being set in a Hollywood-style location such as Vinewood in San Andreas. GTA V...Perhaps it's not a five but a V for Vinewood!

Rockstar will have heard all the criticism about the last game so here's hoping they take it on board and give us fun again.

Would love to see a return to the 80s and a huge open world like San Andreas with plenty of mini games and side missions. Would also be good if they gave us some online co-op missions to do like in RDR. I enjoyed those.

If we do get an american setting, i hope we get all types of terrain/landscape, e.g. dessert, mountains, snow, city etc. Similar to RDR. Of course, it being set in London, we can get a lot of weather effects. Makes the game more interesting.

Wow, look at the signs. This is massive, if that first pic is GTA, it is very likely to be a London setting. Just look at both way out signs, its uncanny.

I didn't really enjoy GTA IV and never bothered completing it, something I very rarely do. Maybe it's just that I'm getting older but I get no pleasure from playing horrible immoral characters these days.

I thought the whole problem with gta 4 was that the main character was too moral.

Gta 3 - Main character was basically a cold, silent assasian who didn't seem to have much morals.

Vice City - From what i can remember this guy was an absolute nutter out for revenge. Had no morals whatsoever and would kill or screw over anyone that got in his way.

San Andreas - Main character was straight out of the hood, out to make a name for himself. Not quite as bad as the other two, but still very much a bad guy.

Gta 4 - Was just way too nice and questioned nearly every single mission he was given. He was the only character where it felt like you weren't really moving up the criminal ladder as the missions progressed.

That would be good. People keep going on about wanting SA or VC setting, in a way I disagree. What we need is a place that has VC or SA feel to it but Is new big and fun map. I myself never want to see Liberty city back. Places I would like to see.

The thing is they are all good, but I would prefer a state in which has all landscapes, like Colorado? I am sure that has desert type areas, snowy mountains etc. Something similar to RDR and San Andreas, maybe. That is another thing, I really hope there is better weather effects and seasons. More realistic things put in. More side missions, jobs to earn money. Burgarly side missions, ability to destroy more things is around you. Also, hope that they bring back the gym and ability to get stronger, the muscular you are. Also, options to buy houses, rather than earning them as you go along. I am sure you had to do it like that in GTA 4, can't remember.

Also In RDR, there is a lot of realistic things going on in the sourroundings, like people doing every day things, like sweeping and cleaning, making things etc. I hope they bring that aspect into the game, of course things will have changed since last GTA, so I think we can expect a hell of a lot more. RDR has set the bar for this, so we should get a lot of what we are hoping for.
