Why has this happened to my Samsung Galaxy S2?

I have been loosing it over the stupid angle, clearly its leaning towards the right but I don't know how to fix it. Having said that 2 of the three people I asked barely noticed the screen position so perhaps I should count myself lucky I didn't do any real damage to my phone and wait for the next official update by T-mobile to hopefully straiten out any issues that may still exist.

Well, if you've reinstalled stock firmware and kernel, I think a software issue can be ruled out.

If the screen calibration options aren't helping, then I really do think there's a hardware error of some kind, and perhaps it's just coincidence that it manifested itself when you tried customising it?

If you've done a factory reset, go to the system update just to see if it has to re-'catch up' with any updates. If there's nothing there, then at least you'll be able to present it as a hardware problem.

I got the phone on the 15th of September and i don't pay insurance for it, could I get it replaced or repaired from T-mobile?

I should think so. It is possible the screen is not sitting straight in the housing. I agree with Biffo, it is all a coincidence.

I have no idea - you'll have to speak to them. I'd still spend more time in trying to fix the problem before that - try the xda developer forums - they're a friendly bunch who are infinitely more tech-savvy than I (they're the ones who make the ROMs).

If they can't solve it, then you'll have to call T-Mobile.

If I could convince T-mobile to take it back I think that would be the easiest thing.

I rooted mine the other day and the screen colours were over all over saturated, I unrooted and all was fine, If you end up having to return it rooting it might have put a count on the binary counter so that will need reset before send it back

Because you can get into download mode but you cant reset the counter that shows you have rooted the phone which voids the warranty.

Thanks for clarifying, I have bought the item and it will be here in 2-3 days. I will use it and reinstall the software. Hopefully that sorts out the problem, if it doesn't I will contact T-mobile and see if they can replace or repair it. Thank you for your help guys
