Blackberry Data

Hi guys, looking to get a Blackberry on contract and need some advice

http://www.carphonewarehouse.com//mo...=SONY_PS3_SLIM

That is the offer I am looking at, but I don't understand what it means by Blackberry data

Because none of those plans apart from the expensive 02 one that I wont be getting say Blackberry data does that mean I wont be able to use BBM? or can I connect to BBM with my Wi-Fi connection?

You will need some form of BlackBerry data service to use BIS even if that is over WiFi. Most operators let you add BB for £5/month. Those prices look a little high for the Curve. Might be worth waiting until it launches on Three, they have the cheapest BB priceplans and have the best 3G network coverage.

Alternatively it is on tmobile for £25.52/month with the BB pack, Data, 300 Mins, 300 Messages already.

I would imagine it will be around £28-30 on Three on the One Plan - (2000 mins, unlimited txt, unlimited data, BB services)

Sorry!! Just noticed it is the old BlackBerry curve 9300 you were looking at. You can pick that up from £15 a month on three and tmobile at the moment.
