Link worked but Shazam couldn't find any matches. Might be worth emailing the BBC; they're pretty good at telling people what music they've used.

The music is from the Wes Anderson film Fantastic Mr. Fox, you can find it here. It's the theme music for Mr. Fox's distant relative Kristofferson.

The film itself is brilliant, if a little quirky.

Also some of the music was from Pixar's Up, it's like they chose quite a few bits of music from children's animation. After all, it is the Young Apprentice...

Thats it thankyou! I recognised the Up music and was looking at kids films, but never thought of Mr Fox

Thanks again!

On a similar note, can anyone identify the background music of this clip?

(I've tried to link to the exact time, but if it doesn't work, it's 03:15)

Dave Gorman also uses it as a backing track on his Absolute Radio show.
