I'd say Marcus and The Risk are.

Marcus because he is gay and attractive, and The Risk because they are reasonably attractive.

As a poster has already pointed out, I'm sure the gay community are put off by Johnny due to his extremely camp persona and therefore creating a negative perception of gay people.

What is your point? Just because there are few guys in the competition who are straight doesn't mean they must be in the closet”

Don't say 'admitted'. You admit to a crime, not for being gay.

Gays like female singers, divas and really strong voices. I think you'll find gays prefer singers like Kitty, Misha and Janet.

Johnny isn't getting the gay vote.

I don't think The Risk are.
Charlie said on Xtra Factor that he has a girlfriend, Andy and Derry always go after the girls and I don't know about Ashley, but he doesn't seem gay to me.. who knows..

I wouldn't think Johnny was receiving very much gay vote at all. His voting base will most likely be almost entirely female. For some reason in the UK there's a type of woman, usually older, who absolutely loves men who are as camp as a row of tents. Fans of Paul O'Grady, Christopher Biggins, Alan Carr, that sort. I'm sure that's who votes mostly for Johnny.

Gay men are much more likely to be attracted to someone much sexier, more contemporary and better looking in the gay column - which leaves only Marcus, sorry, Craig - or to the real battle of the bitches divas - Micha and Kitty. Definitely Kitty I think.

I agree with most of your post except the bit about the ages of the women who are fans of those men (particularly Alan Carr) and Kitty likely to be the popular one if the buzz about Micha at G-A-Y is anything to go by.

I reckon Kitty's a friend of Dorothy.

I am pretty sure the white guy in Nu Vibe is gay..but yes just judging him on when he spoke
Could Misha or any females be a lesbian?..it seems less discussed

camp shouldn't be considered negative..but sometimes camp goes along with being shallow and vain..which is negative in my mind..however Johnny doesn't seem to be that way
Not all gay men are shallow and just care about good looks

My point was that many people view camp as negative.

And I think gay people would feel that someone as camp as Johnny would give an inaccurate perception of gay people in general.

That is a shame that camp is seen as negative..Surely you don't look at Johnny and think he portrays every gay man in the world?..also when there are other gay men on the show I don't see Johnny being the one portraying gays only

I don't personally but there are a lot of ignorant people out there who would.

I don't think being camp is a bad thing but when it comes down to a stereotype for gay men, it is.

"Gaydars" are a myth. There are massively camp people who are genuinely heterosexual, and gay guys who seem stereotypically "straight".

I agree.

The idea of a gaydar was to patronise people into thinking they had great psycho-analytical skills.

Doesn't bother me if they are gay or not as long as they entertain me. I love Marcus, not too sure about Craig and as another poster said, I'm loving Johnny's banter with Gary, his one liners are brilliant and I think he'll be around for a few weeks yet!

Why does a persons sexuality matter so much that threads are still being started about it? It's 2011 FFS. It's muderers, rapists, pedios and wife beaters that you should want to know about. Or do Gay's frighten you?

Poor old Marcus just sort of played along, cos he's such a nice guy. It would have been great if he'd said, "no way, I'm into dudes, dude!"

I'd have loved it if he said 'I didn't think my boyfriend would approve'...
