...that Janet Devlin is the front-runner in the UK version of the X-factor and Drew Ryniewicz is the early front-runner on the US version?

Both are very good singers and have similar vocal styles, but more importantly, they have an uncanny ability to interpret what they are singing in a way that grabs your attention. The fact that they are both so young is really unusual.

Based on Simon's comments about Drew tonight, I think it's pretty obvious now that Janet was the UK act that stood out to him. I think he may have two future stars on his hands. It wouldn't surprise me if he is already plotting how to leverage each one's success on her side of the pond for his (I mean their) benefit.

i have know idea why janet devlin is a uk fave. dreadful voice sings like a child everything sounds the same with her

Really? My brain has an uncanny ability to switch off to both of them and "singers" like them.
