I always had a feeling that they would try and get her and that she'd be interested in doing it! tbh it'd be a coup for the BBC and would be great for Kylie's career right now! imagine the auditionees getting to choose to be mentored by Kylie, Jessie J, Tom Jones etc (if rumors are true)!!

imo she shouldn't be whining about the pay...when the shows gonna give her so much exposure and possibly get her pop career back on track!

I agree. I wish people would keep any non-XF (and I mean UK) threads to the reality TV forums.

Because The Voice is reputed to be in competition with The X Factor and Kylie's sister was a judge on The X Factor at one time before she was let go.

Some would argue The Voice will be a far better and more genuine show than The X Factor.

This particular thread fits in well with The X Factor forum.

Great news for Kylie if true. No denying of all of them Tom is THE VOICE.....love him, but can't help feeling he may be a bit decrepid age wise for this. Its a new fresh show, and perhaps someone more current with a fab voice would have been more appropriate.

An interesting point made in that article.

Kylie helped Danni at JH in 2009, will.i.am helped Cheryl in 2010, Jessie J helped Tulisa in 2011. Perhaps the other will be a 2008 helper?

It would I think have to depend on his knowledge of modern music. So yeah could be an issue.
But hes overall a bit of a legend and young people do like him - especially with things like Gavin & Stacy ensuring they know hes a bit of fun.

In terms of Kylie - possibly would work. Still though according to the papers we have an entire auditorium of judges!

The Sun to hide their own 'making stuff up' then used this to deny their other stories (eg. Will.I.am (eg. William ffs)) so I take it all with a pinch of salt tbh.

Could the BBC poach Sinitta from ITV?

No, Dannii quit. She also confirmed talks with The Voice but obviously turned it down as Jessie J was confirmed.
The Voice format has only one female. Unless BBC want to do it all XF-ish.

Noel Gallagher is one of the judges apparently.

Kylie won't do it because she even said she would never wanna be a judge.

Also, the media will go in a frenzy saying she is copying Dannii and is using the show to boost her popularity as her one has kinda gone no where in the last few years.

Speaking as a Kylie fan for 23 years I think she would be awful.

Her contirbutions at JH to Dannii were laughable.

She's too "nice" to have any impact.

I would rather Dannii to be honest, more personality and sexier.

But ah well.

Speaking of Minogues....hope they release a real duet one day

I honestly don't know why you are so interested in British TV?

I like Kylie but let's face she's not the greatest singer ever - seems a bit silly to have a competition based supposedly on vocal ability alone judged by someone who has relied on her looks/personality to succeed. Is it to much to ask for that it might be judged by someone famed for vocal ability rather than being a babe ...

I'd prefer someone a bit spunky like Lily Allen.

Kylie is too smiley-sweet and likes being popular. I don't think she's enjoy being booed if she made a unpopular decision.

With a voice like hers, the only singers she should be judging are the Chipmunks.

Is there a rule about only having one woman on the panel? TXF only had one woman on the panel till they added Dannii, & ditto for AI till they got Kara. Having an equal number of men & women doesn't actually change the show format.

I have no idea. But if you look at all the other Voice panels there is one female fronting and then the boys. It's kind of its thing.

Its a bit strange though. I don't think it's going as they were hoping for. Usually you announce the full panel, not just one by one. And although they claim to be different from XF, the official twitter sure follows a lot of XF people...

i honestly don't think dannii was fired, i thought at first she was but after reading the article about them only offering louis his contract because they assumed dannii would be back, i don't think so, good job he signed early or else he'd be out too

She's just finished a sold out world wide tour based on a #1 album, so those statements simply don't stand up to reality.

Also, she's the highest female earner (£2.2million a gig), and so £1million for 3 months work would be an insult... I doubt whether the BBC have enough money in the bank on a good day to pay her. This is a bull$hit story to have a go at the BBC.
