A wee article on page 52. Whats the point here? Except am guessing your drawing attention to the BBC bit (haven't they auctioned it off now (or are they just planning to?)).

Seems a fair enough critique. Basically saying the show should concentrate on their singing...and not the gimmicks and soap stories...

Its also nothing to do with the BBC, who do not own the RT any more, and havent for about 4 months.

That's some pretty terrible journalism right there. The show has never pretended to be 'all about' the singing; the whole point is to find somebody who has that 'spark' beyond the voice. If it were all about the singing, it'd be far less fun to watch.
