She will be doing No Light, No Light...

Shame I wanted her to do Shake It Out.

Glad she'll be on the show, although I think the focus will be on JLS...

Is that the one they ripped-off Gang Gang Dance, but didn't acknowledge until they got caught out?

Homage, indeed!

Ahh sorry, I didn't notice the OP saying next week

I'm surprised Pixie Lott isn't performing next week.

I have to say I am surprised. Good to see artists like this getting on board.

I've always thought the snobbery of the show by so called "too cool for school, credible" acts was stupid.
It's the biggest platform to perform your music in the country, so why not.
Their record labels are probably telling them to get over themselves because they need to sell.

Getting a slot on American idol is a big deal for american artists, no reason why it can't be the same with the X factor in the UK.

Good on you Florence, lets hope she doesn't do a Jamiroquai.

I agree. The likes of Rihanna, Katy Perry and Bruno Mars perform on the show and sell bucket loads in the UK.

Why would she do a Jay Kay, she's never slated the show and bar her drunken performance at T In the Park, she always sings incredibly... .

Really happy with that hopefully we can see a few more preferably new British artists perform this year although I'm sure the usual ones will get their nailed on spots! ( I don't mean the artists are new BTW, just new to the X Factor stage)

Not particularly a fan of Florence but if it was one of my favourite artists i would be disappointed.

I know it's great promotion but by appearing your almost condoning the X Factor as a credible music show.

Nah you are just taking the chance for exposure.

And unless you are a ridiculously pretentious so and so, you'd take it happily.

Florence watches the X factor when she can catch it.

Just chooses to make a different sort of music, but no reason she shouldn't go on!
