I do think that both Drew and Janet are similar to each other.

Janet the Miss Bland and Boring of the X factor.

No versatility, has weak vocals, has no stage presence or charisma.

The irony is though she will must probably win for being those things safe and boring!!

There might be similarities, but I still find them very different. They're both excellent vocalists of course, which is probably why Simon likes them.

At her best Janet is better than that US contestant because Janet's voice is sweeter and purer. The problem is Janet's last performance was disappointing and was not nearly as good as her two previous performances. That is why she is now being compared with an inferior performer from the US X-Factor and is losing a little bit of support. I think she made a bad choice of song that didn't suit her voice and that's what let her down last week.

If she does better next week then everyone will say wow again and she will become favourite again.

Still prefer Janet.

I love Janet but I agree with you. When I heard that performance from Drew I was more wowed than I've ever been by Janet.

They're both as far removed from the concept of singing as each other.

I listened to Drew. She has quite a nice voice, I can't quite decide on one listening if I really like it or not. It has that very "americanized" sound to it of course, which is not really to my taste, but there is something about her voice that I do like. I'll sit on the fence for now.

Janet has beautiful, heart-melting vocals and tone, and more raw talent, no matter how unpolished in some regards, than the other acts combined. I remain unsure she will actually win, but regardless she will get a record deal and I predict big things for her.

Drew is in a different league to Janet and she's already through to the last 3 girls with Cowell saying that putting her through was "the easiest decsision he has ever made".
Cowell also identifies her as a future recrding star - something noone has said about JANET.
DREW and JANET (if she get's anywhere) will be in the same stable and there is not room for both.
Expect JANET to go far in the competition but not win it.
The "chosen ones" are the RISK but I believe MARCUS has as good a chance as anyone - more talent than most and more likeable than all.

of all people Drew..... I tell you that girl has something that makes her really unlikeable, don't know what it is yet, but I can tell you that she will be hated very soon by the American people. There is something annoying and unlikeable about her ever since she hit XF, on her first audition. She will not win.

Nope, I am SO right.
When Simon Cowell (who pulls the strings in both shows) says JANET has a future as a recording artist I'll reconsider. I didn't say JANET was not a recording artisist, I said there is not room in the "Little Miss lost" market for both JANET and DREW, certainly not in the same stable and with COWELL having already come out for DREW I reckon that's a negative for JANET
