That has already been - Amelia's elimination would have been absolutely shocking if we didn't already know that Kelly champions Sophie.

I don't think there will be one this year unless Janet or The Risk are actually doing terrible in the public vote - but I doubt that.

I think the closest we will get to a "shock" elimination this year is Misha and Sophie. Although Sophie's would be seen as inevitable in hindsight.

If you mean, one of the bookies favourites, I am going to suggest that I think there will be no shock this year.

I suspect the three favourites (Janet, The Risk and Misha) will all make the top five. After that, it is not so much a shock anymore.

They may have been shocks to the general public, but they certainly weren't shocks in the betting market. They were just 2 anonymous acts who didn't have a hope of winning really.

With respect, that's just not true. Both Aiden and Lucie both had considerable fanbases, and both exited when less talented acts (Katie/Wagner, Jedward) were still in the competition.

Lucy was the favourite going into the live finals. If its misha will def turn off I couldnt stand to watch Tulisa n her false plastic teeth pretend to be sympathetic!
