Eastenders Martin one night stand story...
How stupid is this story, what kind of women would stalk a man and get to know his family and make friends with his wife after a one night stand, it's utterly pathetic no wonder the show is going down the tubes, the stories are awful and the characters have lost their charm.

I just feel that this storyline is very rushed. Like Pop Princess said this kind of thing has been done before, and done much better.

I don't think the premise of this type of stalker is unbelievable at all - the storyline is just being done very badly. Forcing this on Sonia and Martin ten minutes after the wedding (a storyline which was itself badly done) makes it feel like the characters are on a treadmill of doom. What next, Sonia in alien abduction plot?
One of the best storylines on EE? Well I admit it is hard to think of any better ones, but unfortunately that doesn't mean it's good.

I agree with whoever said the Saskia/Steve(Mel) plot was done much better. Saskia really was a psycho b*tch, whereas Sarah is just....blah.

Well Saskia and Steve wasn't as cleverly written or drawn out as Sarah and Martin. It was a quick route to Steve belting her one with the ashtray lol I like this storyline, one of the few good things EE has going on at the moment.

Yeah, they should have waited maybe a year or so before doing this to Martin and Sonia's marriage. A lot of Fans are not happy or do not even give two hoots about Sonia and Martin as a couple, and this is going to turn off even more fans.
Being several months behind...I haven't seen the episode where Sarah and Martin hooked up...so I was wondering, is there any chance that they never had sex? That maybe Sarah's making it up...and she only slept in the same bed as Martin, but they didn't do anything? Like with Tracy and Roy on Corrie. |

thank god! I for one would not like to see Martin getting 'hot and heavy', moaning and groaning on Sarah!

Does anyone else think that Sarah bears a striking resemblence to Michelle Fowler (Susan Tully)?

![]() Kareena and Mickey were also quite good - despite the annoying children, their fight was very realistic. |

![]() What I see happening is Sonia being kidnapped by aliens. Then weeks later a pair of Droids arrive in the square. Gus finds them and using his towering intellect - mistakes the smaller one for a rubbish bin. But after tinkering with it he finds a holographic message from Sonia begging for help. Meanwhile it emerges that Andy has been sub contracted to build a moon size battle station and has begun construction in the Arches. Things take a real turn for the worse though when the main villain of the new plotline turns up. He's clad all in black. He's wheezing. He's often seen clutching a powerful sword in his hands. He's barely even human any more - he's Darth Den! Think about it...We've got the Den is Ian's father plot line coming up. Just picture the scene - after an epic battle threw the market square, Ian lies beaten and missing a hand...Den sheathes his lightsaber, puts his hands in his pockets and looks to the sky... "Auntie Pauline never told you what happened to your father...did she the silly old cow?" The possibilities are endless - Alfie would probably be a good fit for a Han Solo type character - whilst Pat easily has the size and fearsome nature to pull off the Death Star. |

I do think Sarah looks like Michelle did around the time she married Lofty. Given how out of it Martin was that night I don't see how he could have managed to do the deed. Sarah is obviously nuts (e.g she went home with Martin) and made it up. The other night when Sonia asked was she pregnant you could just see the light bulb go on and Sarah say to herself "now theres an idea". I fully expect her to have a fake pregnancy story and she will pressure Martin to tell Sonia. When he as per usual bottles it Sarah will tell Sonia herself. Martin will then deny that the child is his and Sonia having a stong sense of deja vu will side with Sarah over Martin and suddenly loves young dream will have ended.
