New 'twist' to save Frankie?

Unconfirmed rumour: The producers are planning an elimination round (codename Haters week). Viewers will vote to evict instead of save.

Frankie will of course be one of the two but so will one of the girls (probably Misha because of bully-gate).

The judges will then say that the girl "didn't live up to her usual standard" and Frankie "has made a real improvement in his singing"

They will save Frankie and give him time to get rid of his bad boy image which hasn't been working. He is scheduled to have a haircut and do charity work to "improve his image".

Can this be true?

Craig is boring but I think that could change with the uptempo number he's been given this week, well according to him.

If he delivers I might throw a vote his way, or not.... I can only afford to vote Sophie and Marcus

If they want to save him they will just save him. No twists needed.

Why would they want to save him?

Are they stupid?

The twist also gets rid of the big guns like Misha who is popular and unpopular. This would clear the way for Frankie to win or at least stay in.

At least Misha is popular tho!

Frankie is just unpopular. He obviously has some fans, but he's widely disliked.

That should save some money for ITV as hair and make-up departments won't be needed for Frankie.

They could be given a task so that one is immune and make sure that person safe is Frankie.

I jest. Been watching too much Big Brother....

Why would they need a twist to save him? The rules of the show make it so that the producers can only lose control in the final, at which point it no longer matters anyway.

Can we have Frankie goes home week?

I don't really picture Dermot saying, "and if this performance didn't float your boat, call this number when the lines open". Voting to evict is kind of harsh.

The first series of Pop Idol was originally going to be a vote to evict. But the producers changed it to positive voting after some people started campaigns against the favourites.

Difference is a vote to save will generally bring in more votes and therefor more revenue

Somehow Craig doing uptempo will remind me of Paige (especially if he tries dancing)
