To me it has only garnered more bad press for the show.
I think that Tulisa had had enough of meddling show-off Kelly, and who can blame her.

I think it was pretty obvious when the bickering started that they had been instructed to 'spice it up'. It was pathetically transparent.
Simon is prob regretting leaving the show. If he didnt do it....it would be the same panel = a hit show

I knew as soon as the arguing broke out that Cowell had ordered the judges to do so (it does show even the likes of Barlow is merely a puppet on the show).

You can imagine the meeting with the producers on Saturday afternoon : "We want aggro on the show and we want it right from the outset....here's what we want you to do"
It hasn't really set the press on fire so probably a waste of time. I suspect the tabloids want Cheryl and Simon back and nothing else will do ...
