Knew that would happen.
Saw some comments in the Daily mail from Americans saying the format was a lot more interesting than American idol, which they think has become boring over the years.

i haven't seen the episode yet, i will watch it friday. i am glad that the shows fortunes are reversing for the live shows. if it manages to maintain that audience it is a good starting point. simon should have been more realistic in the first place. was is the point in starting off with huge ratings and not be able to retain the audience in the following seasons.

You'll always find someone with a plus or minus opinion no matter where you go, no matter the message board, twitter, no matter the program(me). I think you'll find people who feel AI has been resurrected from getting staid and boring. Personally I love JLO, Steven and Randy as the hosts.

I still find the AI format much better. I dont quite get all this dropping this amount, coming back, dropping a few more, then leaving it up to 3 per group. I don't know. Maybe that is similar to AI, with a remaining 12. I think they 're going to have to seriously re tool Season 2 to be more successful. I think some of us thought Season 1 was poorly edited and little explanation of what was going on.

I always knew the razzmataz of the live shows would raise the ratings.

It continue to be far less than American Idol (twice less).

Its better than XFactor UK.

They have more quality singers, in the live shows.
