Would losing Kitty and Frankie possibly mean losing another couple of million viewers

Kitty for her performances and show and Frankie just for how bad he is, these are the two that are probably keeping the press writing about the show.

This is probably why the judges spat was created last week.

If they lost these two say next weeks, we would really be in bland central territory and the show would be in real trouble.

I really doubt we could sustain another six weeks of the likes of Craig and Janet and her harp ballads

Yup I'm only watching for Kitty when she goes (since the majority of X Factor's fan base are stupid), Ill flick over to Strictly or something.

No, that's just you. Kitty is interesting for the first 20 seconds to see what the novelty is. Frankie is worse than the adverts for "turnoffness"

I usually like the contestants on these shows that are flamboyant and actually put on a show and that make you wonder what they are going to do next.

I have to say I feel no such thing with Kitty. I suppose partly it's because I don't think she's very good at what she tries to do but the main reason is that you know what Kitty is going to do next ............. something else from her routines as a tribute act for Gaga, Britney, etc. Nothing original and nothing unexpected.

Anyway, where do people get that idea that a show loses a great deal of viewers when it loses what are clearly not very popular contestants? That's like when the judges say "I'm going to save the contestant who I think the audience would like to see again" and then save a contestant who has been in the bottom two at least twice.

Loosing kitty yes .. Frankie the show would probably gain 2 million viewers ...

also if they lost johnny then the show might as well get cancelled

Correct.

Democracy is only as good as the people who vote.

More like gain.

Frankie isn't entertaining-bad,just bad.He seems like a nice kid, though,so it isn't fun watching him be exploited.

Kitty is a good tribute act with an ordinary, nasal voice. She won't be missed by many, because Johnny Robinson is more of an entertaining performer than Copykit will ever be(In fact,he is the real deal of being the kind of cabaret artist Ga Ga,who Kitty is a karaoke version of, even admits she took ideas from ),and, unlike Copykit he actually can sing passably well without sounding abrasive.

If anything, the show will be better once these last 2 dross acts are gone.

Was there a ratings drop when other, similarly controversial contestants were eliminated last year? (Katie, Wagner, Cher) I honestly don't know, but I don't think there was.
