Was Frankie inspired by Lord Wagner?

As we continue to try and get our heads round the musical boundaries that are being pushed by Frankie, I suddenly had this epiphany.

Was Frankie so overawed by Lord Wagner's magnificence on last year's show that he was driven to try and emulate his success? Both on the stage and with the ladies.

I can picture Frankie sat in front of the television with his Marmite sandwiches looking enviously at the ease with which Lord Wagner performed as women fell as his feet. Who wouldn't want to be him?

Now obviously Frankie is only a wee boy and Lord Wagner was the embodiment of God himself so he can't hope to compare. But one can understand how he would want to try.

So should we cut him some slack for setting his sights so high?

And wouldn't Lord Wagner want us to support the one who 'doesn't belong here'?

I think he would, and not only was Creep sung from the heart but it was also prophetic. We should embrace Frankie's unique musical qualities and his complete disregard for the conventions of the show.

Let's hope Frankie also manages to emulate Wagner's post X Factor career too. No where to be seen.

They both have lots of hair and neither can sing, but there the similarity ends I think

Wagner was having the time of his life on stage - to me Frankie doesn't look comfortable at all

The Lord works in mysterious ways, I would not expect to see him everywhere.

Although I did much appreciate him gracing Coach Trip for a couple of days to remind us all of happier times.

Ah, but the Wagner Book of Worship states:

Quote:
“It is forbidden to worship false idols, regardless of their form. There is only one Lord Wagner: do not be led astray by others - only He has the loaf you need to see you through.”

Very true.

There can be only one, and we would worship no other. But like a stray puppy with bedraggled hair I think Frankie would have been picked up by Lord Wagner and set on the right path.

Unfortunately he has Gary.

Ah yes! I saw that, and the other coach passengers were so overwhelmed by his appearance, they could only chant his name over and over.......

.
Two non-singers and creepy around woman, neither should have been considered for the X Factor.

I think you will find women were naturally drawn to Lord Wagner. Anyone would be in his divine presence.

Frankie may have to use a can of Lynx for the same effect, but he has to work with what he's got.

Don't be surprised if on Saturday we suddenly hear Frankie talking with a slight Brazilian accent. And I wouldn't be surprised if they took the boys to the zoo, and Frankie "accidentally" got photographed holding a lion's tail.

He certainly seems to be fighting Johnny for this years Wagner/Jedward crown. Bit of an own goal for po-faced Barlow.
