I just had a look at the songs played by Alex Lester & Zoe Ball on R2 for the last 2 days.
Nice to see Walking on Water & Slowly played by Alex. But it beggars belief why Zoe would play RFYL yesterday - not exactly a way to promote the album, is it? Hope she will play a new track today, and not just another re-hash.

Am I like the only person here, who probably won't be going to the tour I don't feel like a true fan

Don't feel like that Josh. I'm sure your supporting Matt in other ways i.e. buying his music. Its a shame you can't go and see him live thought as he's so fantastic but please don't feel that your not a true fan because you can't go

I don't know about that. How many people can seriously say they have / will see all the musicians they like [disregarding any that are dead, naturally] in their lifetime?

I'd say you're simply a fan of someone for buying and liking their stuff [not to mention talking about them on the interwebs]!

I still don't know whether to go to both Portsmouth and London or just one. Portsmouth would be cheaper cos I would be able to stay with my sister overnight (hopefully) rather than getting a hotel and there is probably more choice of seats but my friends can't get there.

would that be Rioja, Cab Sauv or Shiraz? Or even Zinfandel if you really want to push the boat out? I've got the paper cups ready slosh slosh

yeah, maybe a bit early for wine; I'll start with a good old British cuppa too thanks

Reckon we won't have any problem being on Houe 50 by end-Feb - it's 18 weeks away, that's, um, about 11.5 days per house, hmm, might actually be a tall order even for us lot especially if we go into a bit of a news drought period

Don't feel like that. I have been a massive fan of Take That since they started but only managed to see them on tour for the first time this year!

Wow, new house! I dunno how we do it. I can't quote from the old thread so I'll just try and remember.

- I think the calendar was a a Calendar Club thing, but they just set up stands in the shopping centre, it wasn't a shop.

- Weird seeing those pics of him in Orkney with Emily Bourne, I used to have my work meetings in that room

- Interesting discussion about the money, I think it's really bad for a lot of these groups in the past who've done really well and end up with nothing when it's all over. They get totally screwed over. Luckily Matt seems to be doing things the right way, just meals out in Nandos every night

- Love that there's an ad for the tour! And the fact it has clips of Koko in it. We were there folks

What is Matt doing this week btw? We haven't seen or heard much from him (apart from going to see Cliff ).

With an average of a new house about every 10 days, it will be no trouble to reach 50 by the end of February!!!

Thanks for the cuppa - much needed

Do you think it's likely he will add more dates/another London date to the tour?

What I like is that the songs carry on after the add and then the add comes up again. This is serious stuff

No, its not that at all, its my age thats the problem! My parents would hate to take me to see him, especially my dad. I'm younger than you may expect I'll just rely on the videos!
