So, LB is gone, MY is gone. Things SHOULD be picking up... But they're not...

Even Heat mag is turning their backs on EE. On the letters page someone wrote in something like this:

"For about 15 years I have never watched Corrie, it's been my mum's tv programme. I've always preferred mine Cockney (EE). But after watching just ONE episode of Corrie, I find myself involved with the characters and ENJOYING the storylines! And the best part? It's actually a GOOD soap. And not a Ferraira in sight!"

If Heat turns it's back on EE, all hope is gone. My friends have stopped watching... I don't even know if EE can improve!

Do YOU think it can?

LB has just gone, give it a few months (I think the episodes are filmed 3 months in advance). Things should hopefully start to improve at around Christmas time.

Heat themselves haven't turned THEIR OWN backs on Eastenders. They actually fully support Eastendrs more then Corrie, they've said that countless amount of times and proven it.

And yes I must agree with Patti, how the hell can anyone say things should be picking up after a week of those two leaving? That is a joke.

Although that's promising, it really annoys me there are so many people like that who seem to disregard a soap without giving it a chance and then they watch one episode and realize how daft they've been.
It's like with Emmerdale, there are STILL people who say, "why would I watch a farming soap?" IDIOTS!

Speaking of which, did anyone notice the woman who played Charlie Ramsden in Corrie (you know, the alcoholic teacher who was excellent but never given a storyline), in a recent advert for Heat? I'm sure it was her...

Well i'm hoping it can, but I feel like shutting my eyes and then opening them when it's all over!

LB's been gone about a week, and MY young quit yesterday. The storylines and scenes that LB was responsible for have already been filmed and so EE isn't going to have major improvements until what we see is KH's work (hopefully)

I know what you mean, I'd just like to skip through it now until it's back to how it used to be. Here's hoping it won't be too long.
