Surely this little scam contravenes the whole public vote thing. This guy was eliminated. Also, we now have an entity in week three of the competition that nobody has voted for.

No, Emily Nakanda (she was 14/15 iirc and mentored by Sharon) quit in 2007 because she was outed as a 'bully' of sorts (there was this video of her happy slapping or something), so she quit for whatever reason.

I don't remember 100% but I think what actually happened was she was asked to withdraw and she didn't want to. Sharon backed her up and so Simon insisted she leave. The funny thing is where the show is nowadays they would have kept her on for the controversy.

As was discussed in another thread last night, X Factor is 'vote to save' - so he was not voted out. The voting rules are not broken.

This is getting a joke if frankie was to go this week they could bring him back next week as part of the group.

I was discussing this with a friend last night, and her theory is that it's not so much that they didn't want to go on a s a 3-piece, but that the one who quit The Risk (can't remember his name!) didn't want to be part of a 5-piece. Remember how much praise Ashford got from the judges as part of Nu-Vibe? Tulisa's probably been trying to get him into The Risk somehow ever since!

I commented last week on how 3 members of The Risk (Derry, Charlie and the other one who was chatting up girls on the night) got loads of scretime in their VT, but there was one who was hardly shown. Is he the one who has now left??

Yes, he was definitely the least important member of the group and I don't think him being replaced will make much difference.

Yeah it was ashley but he wasnt shown because he was sick and stayed at home. so he wasnt out with them anyways, they took frankie with them instead
