Ok so BT engineer came out fixed landline phone, very nice fellow.
Still no wireless internet, after 45 mins on mobile to them and TT rep trying to resolve prob they now say its the router. Sending out new router in next couple days. Some how i don't think this will sort it out,but here's hoping. Now entering 6th week without wireless connection,2weeks without landline. Ooooooooooooooooooooh how nice it used to be ,pick up the phone or just log on. Makes u wonder did they really send men to the moon? |

^^^My sympathies, worse of all having to use your mobile to phone up TT.
As for the possible problem with the router, I wonder what router they will send you.... In my case as I was NOT dealing with TT I went out and bought a new router, shame that I didn't need one but at least I have a spare one for when I have future problems. |

Compensation due for 2 weeks without land line and or internet. The wireless problem is not their concern ... unless the router is broken ... even then I doubt any compo is due. |

Got the same problem at the minute with Orange though, noticed my internet wasn't working yesterday so plugged a phone in to contact them and no dial tone.
After contacting them via parents phone and doing the usual checks about removing the front of the box and plugging it in the test socket behind and still not working they put a call into the engineer, also saying it could cost £105 if the problem is my own. BT engineer here this morning, seems like its been disconnected somewhere as he's getting no voltage or anything from the socket. EDIT - All fixed, someone had disconnected it at the box. |

Got new router,up and running again.
Phoned TT about refund as no landline for 2wks and no BB for 6 wks and costs for having to use my mobile approx £10,they offered me a tenner. Did'nt even bother arguing just so discussed with TT lack of support, getting Mac code sent and will change BB provider. I have never experienced such bad customer service and can now understand customers utter flustration with a worthless company like TT. I'm now so relieved to be leaving them. Thanks everyone for their comments and advice during this upsetting period. |
