I wish the pro female dancers would stop putting cringeinducing crotch clutching and hip gyrations in the male celebs routines.

It's embarrassingly awful.

Dreadful dreadful dreadful.....There are children watching this show.
I am a great fan of Ola and Robbie, but Ola no more of this cringeworthy choreography please.

Totally agree - and the comments from Bruno and Tess (which to be fair were I think ad libbed before they engaged their brains) just made it all worse. No more - keep it a family show please.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! So glad its not just me who absolutely hated the crotch grab. Once was bad enough but to put it in at the end as well was just awful (shudders!)

I'm going to post my feelings on the SCD boards - hopefully if enough of us do this it might get them to tone it down.
( I don't do twitter but I do hope some watchers who like us didn't like it will twitter Ola and Robbie)

I did not like what Robbie Savage did; it is a family entertainment show and I did not think it was appropriate for it.

I love Robbie and Ola but I did find myself hoping his kids weren't watching that.

I loved it, it was bloody brilliant, especially when he jumped up onto the desk! It's all tongue in cheek, surely no one could be offended by it?!

- yes, I was. I was quite taken aback; it is a family entertainment show.

I hope the BBC gets loads of complaints about this, as I'm sure they will. Everyone has to be told it is revolting and totally unsuitable for a show watched by thousands of very young children. And the judges must be told to shut up about "marvellous thrusting" and similar ghastly descriptions. I like Robbie, but I do NOT like what we had to watch tonight. It was foul, no other word for it.

Oh yes they could, I was. It was ghastly, and totally unsuitable for a show watched at 6.30 p.m by thousands of very young children.

Do they? You don't think anyone else could have a different opinion to you?

Apologies Waites Girl and other posters, I think I'm getting too carried away here, you're entitled to your opinion, if you didn't like it you didn't like it. (I LOVED it, though! )

I hope that you are in the minority.
If you are not and the shows choreography continues in this downward spiral it will lose a lot of viewers who don't want to watch male celebs clutching their crotch.
Aliona did a similar thing last year with Matt Baker but when they repeated the dance later it had been toned down, and rightly so.

I agree, everyone is entitled to a personal opinion.
Mine is that that sort of behaviour could be appropriate in a different setting.

As I said, I was taken aback and now, on reflection, I am horrified that an experienced choreographer such as Ola should include it in the dancing routine.

Apology accepted. You may have liked it, but you have to remember this is a show with many thousands of young children watching and the BBC should play absolutely no part in the sexualisation of children.

But children can watch the original choreography (Michael Jackson) at any time.

Seriously does anyone know any children who have been corrupted ny this. Or are people being offended on behalf of others?

I am more dissapointed in Ola than with Robbie - he just does as she tells him.
I think he is probably of a similar standard to Chris Hollins but better looking. She did fabulous fun routines with Chris which showed what a good choreographer she can be. Perhaps she should reflect on this.

I'm not offended by it, I just find it totally unnecessary and not worthy of SCDs professionals.

It was hideous and embarrassing - I detested it and cringed each time he did it - poor Craig got a shock too but handled it really well...
