I did actually earlier.......Robbie was really upset about the 4 from Craig and was tweeting a lot about it putting them in danger so I tweeted him and said that I really didnt like the hip thrusting.....I really think Ola needs a slap for that routine...it was dire.

Context. If Artem had done it in the middle of Swan Lake then fair enough.

Robbie and Ola are still her favourites. Ola is 'very pretty with nice dresses' and Robbie is 'funny man with funny hair'.

Her favourite bit of tonight was when 'Robbie jumped on the table and frightened Craig'.

So there you have it. Traumatised.

I don't see how anyone can complain when Ola includes that traditional paso step, the crotch grab, in their routine.

The groin grabbing didn't bother me but Ola's lazy choreography did. Has she given up doing anything new?

Ola needs her wrists smacked for her hideous choreography. It was totally inappropriate when you consider young children were watching. I felt sorry for Craig having Mr Savage's dangly bits thrust in his face - Craig was white from his make-up but underneath I bet he went green. Absolutely awful.

I've already provided an example of a child that wasn't bothered. Can someone provide an example of a child that was or else the 'won't somebody think of the children' argument falls a bit flat.

I thought the whole routine was pretty bland and nowhere near Ola's usual standard of choreography; apart from the cape twirling, it was difficult at times to tell whether they were attempting a paso or a tango.

Maybe Ola realised this and thought the crotch clutching would liven it up? If Robbie had done it once he would have got away with it, but 3 times in one routine was too much; and right into someone's face (never mind who that someone was) was the height of poor taste at best.

Although I agree the pros set up the choreography, the celebs can refuse to do a move they find distasteful, so both Ola & Robbie have to take responsibility.

I don't think its inappropriate or offensive, just cringe-worthy.

Kids love "pantomime" horror - I wouldn't worry about that. I can't speak for whether Robbie's dance "traumatised" kids or not. All I can say is I'm 41 and it made me want to run and hide behind the sofa - and I hated it when Michael Jackson did it too.

I wouldn't want Robbie dangling it in my cornflakes but the thrusting didn't offend me - I just wrote it off as naff 'cartoon' choreography.

Robbie and Ola are my favourite couple but that routine was dire. I wasn't offended by the thrusts but it didn't fit into the dance, last week, yes but this week was cringeworthy, Expected better choreography from Ola. Hope it doesn't cost them this week

It was awful. Vulgar, embarrassing and completely out of place. Who wants to watch that stupid man making a show of himself? I hope this particular Hallowe'en Horror is voted out.

I suppose Ola needs to keep putting gimmicks in for Robbie as he is not that good.

I've never understood the need to direct their thrustings at the judges. Quite a few celebs have done it over the years.



It's so tired and predictable and not in the least amusing. Just check out the judges faces.

TBH I found James slobbering over Alex's neck to be much more off-putting.

I laughed when Robbie nearly fell into Craig's lap and at the look of horror on Craig's face. They take a risk with the judges' reactions and this one didn't pay off. I think the judges have encouraged Robbie and Ola to add 'gimmicky' sequences into their routines with some of their previous comments. Maybe now Ola will concentrate more on dancing.

I didn't think it was going to corrupt the youth of Britain; I just thought it was lazy and unimaginative. From the outset what was Ola thinking in doing a paso doble to Michael Jackson? I think she was more swept up by the repeating lyric "I'm bad, I'm bad, I'm really really bad" as something that bad-boy Robbie could stomp about to - and then once she got past that, she had absolutely no ideas left as to how to choreograph him. I think Ola is probably one of the sweetest people you'll ever meet but she really needs to take a long look at some of the other pros when it comes to constructing a routine.

edited to add: I actually found the moment in Harry's dance where he put his hands around Aliona's throat rather more distasteful and in a week where Joanna Yates murderer has been convicted.

Jeez it was only a bit of thrusting. Since when did DS harbour a bunch of Mary Whitehouse a-likes blasting about censorship and the corruption of our young?

Chris Hollins wasn't that good but she didn't give him such sleazy routines.
