I dont think Holly is the greatest dancer - she does seem to hold back. BUT I loved her and Artems costumes- the Black Swan dress and male Swan lake look - and loved that routine.

I loved it - it mesmerised me and thought it truly beautiful.
Maybe not a classic AS but who cares

As mentioned above, it wasn't a 'classic' American Smooth but I absolutely LOVED it Favourite dance of the night for me, go Holly!

One of the most beautiful dances I've ever seen on SCD. Loved it!

Got to say I think Artem is an impossible nightmare to partner but genius choreography from him.

It was fab choreo but not an AS.

Ditto.

I didn't recognise it as an American Smooth at all.

Holly so recons herself and she just isn't getting along with Artem and visa versa from the training VT comments from Artem.

They won't win; they'll be lucky to get to the final.

She doesn't care from what I can see.

It was different and I liked it but it wasn't an AS. Holly's legs let her down, they can be a tad bendy which I find distracting, a feathery skirt would have covered this up and it would have looked much better

Had virtually nothing to do with ballroom dancing but it was great to watch.

I feel there is aways something missing when I watch them. Same with tonight's performance. I wasn't keen.

I think if Holly was a better dancer that would have been amazing. It was good but Holly's just not that good imo

I agree...I thought they both looked amazing but Holly would have been better with a skirt it would have looked more floaty.

overall I loved the dance....I love Artems coreo BUT I just cant stop thinking how much better it would have been with Kara and thats the crux of the problem for me.

The most compelling routine of the night for me. Fantastic piece of choreography and I really enjoyed it.

I hated it. But I have watched a LOT of ballet over the years, which I think colours my judgement of other versions of balletic classics. But she didn't seem to straighten her legs or point her toes once.

I really enjoyed it but I couldn't stop myself from thinking how utterly amazing Kara would have been. Must learn to let go...................!!

When I heard they were dancing to Swan Lake, I thought "Oh, dear!", but it totally blew me away! Great concept, great costumes and great execution -- best dance of the night, for me!

Well done Holly and Artem!

I liked it and thought it was a shame they didn't have enough time to allow the music to reach its crescendo. I did recognise some AS in there, though, obviously it was high concept and will inevitably loose some of the feel. I actually liked the dance infinitely better than I liked the silly film.

As for the way she performed it, it was respectable. She is obviously no ballerina, and there were some minor hesitant moments, but I thought she did extremely well.

I'm waiting for it to pop up on YouTube to watch it again, along with Alex's dance. Both were stand out dances for me tonight.

More a showdance.
I was dreading it with that music. AS HAS to be Hollywood.
It worked as a dance. But as an AS? Not so much.
Artem was marvellous.
