So far in this series, I havent seen one dance that has given me goosebumps, or reduced me to tears....

Agree. No tingle for me yet.

Its early days, though Holly was very close last night.

Neither were goosebumps because not that sort of dance but Krisitina and Jason's Tango and Chelsee and Pasha's quickstep were both dances I enjoyed watching several times, which is more than I can say for anyone else [and it takes a lot to make me tolerate Jason's face pulling more than once!]

This whole series has made me weep, tears of boredom and frustration.

Not experienced that since Kara's dance to Santana's Samba Pa Ti.

Don't anyone try to kid me that the standard is better this year.
Notice no "standing ovation from the "posh seats" near the stage.

Oh, I have been reduced to tears quite a few times on this series... for all the wrong reasons.

Yup, agree with you on that! (if you discount tears of laughter.....)

It's early days but I haven't been wowed by a routine yet although I did enjoy both Harry's Tango and Holly's AS (in so much as either of them actually resembled the dance they were supposed to be doing) last night.

Holly's 'Black Swan' dance gave me some goosebumps...I thought there was something quite magical about it. Not that there was a lot of AS going, however!

The two that have really stood out for me were Jason's tango and Holly's american smooth

I really enjoyed Pasha and Chelsee's quickstep from this series so far - that def gave me the feel-good factor

Maybe Artem will give us the tears and emotions later - his choreography can be thrilling, and he has a beautiful-looking partner - again!

Harry's waltz had me in goosebumps, until he broke the hold and the spell was broken...

I would say chelsee and Pasha quickstep.I still remember watching it for the first time. I was so chuffed for them.

No goosebumps for me either. Closest was Jason on Sat and wee Chelsee last week. It's all too much props and not enough dance.

Promising, Jason and Holly have both been close at times, though I would like to get the 10 paddle and shove it where the sun don't shine Re a couple of the judges.

It's still early(ish) days and as ever, the good are getting better, worth sticking with I reckon.

I always have a tear in my eye when dear Russell takes to the dance floor.

You're joking right? I still get a tingle in my loins when ever either Flavia.Aliona or Katya wear a skimpy outfit for a dance, you'd have to be a bender not to.

Its early in the series for goosebumps. Remember - we are only on week 5.

I think we can expect something special in the last 4 weeks.

Of course, we could get Brenda doing ANOTHER showdance~: this time it would be an oven-ready budgie rather than a tinfoiled turkey!

Artem's choreography for the AS gave me goosebumps. It could have been danced better by Holly imo, but it was magical and totally swept me away for the first time this series.

I'm not a bender and I don't, although that may have something to do with the fact I'm a straight woman and don't possess the relevant equipment.

Goosebumps for me are a bit like the '10' paddle should be - they only come up on the odd really special dance. I don't expect it to happen every series (I'm pretty sure series 5 and 7, for example, were goosebump-free for me), and TBH, if I get one goosebump-worthy dance per series then I'm impressed.

Tingle in the loins and goosebumps are two completely different things. I'm sure there's a more suitable thread for loin-tinglers out there.
