The thing I love about Chelsee is her honest persona - she comes across as just being herself and finding it hard to fake things.

I most certainly don't think she comes across either as not "taking part in the show". Rather, like you say above Sallyforth, I think her concentration is an issue and she is easily distracted, and when upset about something as she so clearly was with Saturday night's incident, she seems to find it hard to let go, and once she's out of that situation, she gets perspective again and is honest about it.

I'd rather have her like she is, and really genuine, than the fakeness of say, Dr Pamela of yesteryear!”

I totally agree with this. Chelsee seems a lovely girl, with a lot of energy, enthusiastic but also fragile and sensitive. Like you said she has concentration issues, and she genuinely upset when she think she has done something wrong. I also think she also was upset about the dance itself, she wanted to danced well and she admires Pasha, and she thought she let him down. For me she is a genuine person and she also is a hard worker, she has all my admiration.

Realised what herself? I'm not sure I understand.

If you're implying that because Chelsee was embarrassed about the way she reacted justifies the hardhearted and harsh comments she's received on various threads here I can't agree.

Regardless of how she feels now she was upset at the time and didn't deserve the kick-her-whilst-she's-down comments, IMO.

If I've misunderstood you, many apologies.

In other words she had TWO problems - the fear of exposing her nips and also feeling stupid about over reacting.

I actually think another reason she was so "down" about it all was that she was afraid the whole thing had caused her to mess up the dance and therefore let down her partner. I think that was also in her mind. That's difficult to shrug off.

Weird because on the launch show when Pasha and Chelsee were put together my initial reaction was that they didn't look right together (I have no idea why I thought this)! But that opinion has completely turned on it's head since pretty much their first dance now I think they, argubly, have the best couple chemistry of all the couples. (or at least alongside Flav & Russ & Ola and Robbie).

I think Chelsee is what some people would describe as real. Some might say the surgery suggests otherwise but that's just a physical element of a person and underneath all that I do believe she is totally sincere and totally lovely person.

As for Pasha, he seems like a very smiley, polite and pleasant chap who is teaching Chelsee very well (esp considering that he obviously needed alot of patience due to her frequent lapses of concentration). I really hope they makes it to the semis (even though I know it's still too in advance to think about that stage yet).

Chelsee said she was upset because she had made a fuss about nothing, and got more upset because of it. Also she is doing 12 hour days working on waterloo road and training afterwards, so her emotions were probably heighten due to tiredness. If she appears on ITT this week we will probably get to understand some of the pressure she is under with her work schedule.

That's what it is for me too. Once they were paired together, I was dreading it. Not only did I think they could have been the first elimination, but I also didn't think I'd be bothered by that. I had no knowledge/fondness for either of them, and thought they'd be pretty forgettable.

How wrong I was. I rarely invest hugely in individual couples (There's only about 4-5 throughout the whole entire Strictly run I've geneuinely really, really liked), but I have with these 2 this year (in much the same way I did with Kara & Artem). They seem to get on great, with a genuine chemistry. I really hope they do hugely well.

This is what is so special about it. I bet most people thought the same at the beginning. Who is Chelsee? Who is Pasha? The fact that everyone (nearly) is drooling by now and thinks they've got a serious chance to pick up the trophy is down to them, their chemistry, talent, charm, gorgeousness, cuteness, etc.

Most of the others had a head start from recognisability and an established fanbase, both for pros and celebs. If Pash is still here next year (prays ardently), I bet he and his partner will start amongst the faves.

Let's hope Aliona continues to sabotage Harry's chance of the trophy by getting on Len's wicks. Then seeing Alesha trying to compensate with tens, or elevens or twelves, and then the GBP will perceived "overmarked!" and then they won't vote for them in the finals.

As for Kristina, I really like her. Not sure I like Jason. They appear to dance well, but their partnership just bores me.

So indeed, there is hope that Chelsee and Pasha might get to the finals and WIN it.

I would weep with joy if he did the monster mash holding the glitter ball.

Like they said they are taking it week by week, step by step. .

She seems to have the ability to pick up choreo even when she is hungry and tired and distracted by a phone, she is quite good. They go together so well even though they are so different from one another.

I think that's what Craig meant when he said Chelsee is a quick study, just imagine what she would be able to do if she had more time.

Imagine. Shes scatty-brained most of the time, and having only trained for 12 hours, produced THAT QS. Last week, bar the wardrobe 'malfunction', they had even less time (according to ITT) to train, and Craig said on Monday that their Tango was good up till the point Chelsee thought she flashed herself on national TV.

So, if she's composed, and somehow Pasha gets to make her FOCUS on her training, what will be the end result?!

Hope it goes well for them this week - getting closer to the business end now.

It's been hard work for Chels, working on W'loo Rd at the same time, and Pasha hasn't given her the easy route either in their weekly 12 hours of training. Every week a load of technical stuff being taught. But that hard work with luck should pay off at the 'business end' cos she'll have so much groundwork, whereas some of the all-flying, all-being-carried, all-the-same-step dances that other pros have given their celebs will be much less helpful in the long run. I should think...

Apologies if it's been posted before - this photo from Pasha's Twitter (I don't even "do" Twitter!) shows how "young" Chelsee is for her 23 years.

I wonder if Chelsee realise that Pasha has taken a pic of her sucking her thumb?
Without makeup Chelsee could pass for 16 year old.

Gosh! This is surprising! Firstly, I was told Pasha never tweets though he has a twitter account (something I refuse to have), and now we see THIS!

Pasha reminds me of someone - a previous professional dancer in the programme?

I was a bit concerned about the reduced rehearsal time, but you've cheered me up. Really looking forward to seeing what they've got lined up for us.

I think he looks a tiny bit like Dean Winchester, in certain lights and if you don't look too closely. Anyone watch Supernatural?
