This is a bit scattergun, isn't it? Unlike some of the other pros, she hasn't used props much this year (if at all - I can't think of any off the top of my head); there have been some fairly traditional dances and a couple with some 'faffing about', again as part of a continuum across the dancers, old and newer ones. Also, what is jeered at here as 'faffing about' is in hers and Harry's case, usually genuine dancing, with line and steps, just not in hold. I prefer a bit more in hold myself, but the level of exaggeration and scapegoating on Aliona on what are fairly general trends on the show, is a bit odd.

He can dance. When in hold, he looks gorgeous; it's also clear that he's actually leading the dance.

I am just making conclusion myself, not questioning or challenging you. Sorry if I give that impression.

They still have to get to the final though - and also how many people who watch and vote do actually give a stuff about ballroom content? Playing to the gallery will only get you so far in Strictly - and with the likes of Chelsea/Pasha and Jason/Kristina who are delivering entertaining routinues with technical content to back it up then Ailona really can't afford to ignore that factor. It's a real pity as Harry is good - possibly even better than Jason.

So judging by that site Aliona is a Latin specialist who has mostly finished in the top 10 in her competition days.

Maybe that tells us something. Perhaps she isn't too confident with Ballroom choreography?

Harry and Aliona are my faves, he is such a great dancer, I would love to see more content.

Totally agree. I can't wait to see how Aliona dumb-downs their upcoming Samba to hide Harry's dancing ability (or lack thereof).

Yes they sparkle every week. Never mind all these jealous old women who have nothing better to do with their time than constantly nag how bad she is.

Ah a relative of Victor's from 'One foot in the grave'. I apologise I should have included cranky old men who can no longer "rise and fall" at will.
